If a 1 loss SEC team leap frogs OSU into the title game? Urb's was the lead cheerleader while at FL in 2006 demanding the SEC so deserved it because of our SOS. What is his tune now? He can't be silent. Speak Urb's speak. Let's hear it. I can't wait to see Auburn/Missouri jump your weak schedule.

Huh? 2006 argument was which of the two 1 loss teams should go to the MNC. Not a 1 loss Florida team leapfrogging an undefeated Big10 team. The coaches will not jump an undefeated (24 straight win) BCS major conference team over a 1 loss team.

    It would be awesome.

But in 06, his argument was the one loss SEC champion should be ahead of a one loss B10 team who didn't even win the conference.

Now his argument will be an undefeated B10 champion shouldn't be jumped by a one loss SEC champion.

Both arguments are valid and not contradictory at all.

They will put the SEC champ in the MNC....strength of schedule alone over a team that hasn't played a ranked team all year.

Auburn only needs to be 2 spots ahead in the computers if they are one spot behind in the polls to pass them.

OSU deserves to be in the MNC if they win out. I wish no ill will to UM and thank him for his contributions. He will always be a Gator to me. I much rather have OSU win a title than the Semenholes. I think Bama would have given FSU the better challenge but I like OSU's chances with UM time to prepare.

Not going to happen. Auburn's SOS is not appreciably stronger than either OSU's or FSU's. They aren't going to leapfrog anyone.

In fact, OSU deserves to be there more than FSU if you're rational. FSU's schedule is actually more pathetic.

Now we know how LSU feels, when another team goes to the big game with your coach.

Is it? There really isn;t much difference between OSU's, FSU's, and Auburn's schedule. That is, unless you believe the nonsense that a 6-win SEC team is better than an 8-win BiG or ACC team...

I'd agree with that. Especially if USCe beats Clemson tonight.

Duke and Clemson are the only two teams on FSUs schedule that may still be ranked at the end of the season. OSU played a tougher schedule. Plenty of one and two loss teams played much tougher schedules that are more deserving.

I'd take Iowa, Wisconsin and Michigan State over anyone FSU has played this year. I agree there's not much difference but I'd give OSU the edge.

People are devaluating the B10, while the ACC is getting the benefit for beating no one. The ACC historically sucks against good competition. OSU has more BCS wins than that entire conference combined.

I doubt it... This is probably the year that the SEC get's left out of the MNC. Probably a good time for it to happen as I think the SEC is severely down and perhaps overrated. I'd much rather get 2 teams in next year anyway.

Don't be too sure. Auburn just beat #1 Alabama and if they win next week, will have another win over a Top 10, maybe even Top 5, team. That's better than OSU's schedule. The Suckeyes will (hopefully) lose next week and end the debate, though.
