Did you ever think that just maybe it's a POS legislation and they don't want to have anything to do with it like most AMERICANS don't want to have anything to do with it.

ObamaCare, of course, was passed when even Nancy Pelosi did not know what was in it. Her statement ["we won't know what's in it until we pass it"] is one that is surely true. The President's statement that health care costs will go down [they are going up] and that anyone who likes their coverage can keep it [apparantly not true] were either made without knowing the facts or knowing the facts and intentionally obscuring them.

Now that we "know what's in it," Pelosi and the other members of Congress do not want to be covered by it, a substantial majority of Americans do not want it, the IRS [which will be required to enforce it] does not want it, businesses do not want it, full time jobs are being replaced by part time jobs, some companies are strongly considering paying the fines to avoid the staggering costs and companies are dropping dependent coverage. Some small businesses have already concluded that they will not be able to stay in business. Virtually no one understands or is prepared to comply with the thousands of pages of regulations.

This is a piece of legislation that we should all applaude and enthusiastically embrace, except the substantial majority of Americans who do not want it, businesses that do not want it, members of Congress who do not want it, the IRS that does not want it and those whose jobs will become part time instead of full time.

Yep, I agree. I told her it was a waste of time. I wrote Rubio and got a totally different response.

I guess that also went for the stimulus, federal court nominees, federal appointments, financial services reform, etc.

But NO, the GOP doesn't vote in lockstep...

Do you really think anyone buys this BS or are you content with just lying to yourselves?

    Pelosi didn't say that:

" “But we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it – away from the fog of the controversy.”
