From Hoosiersportsnation.com: "austin peay beat michigan state at home 2/3, beat or won series vs these mid majors in the rpi 60-100 range: middle tennessee, illinois state, creighton, belmont, memphis... and thats about it, sos of 165. rpi of 27 comes from beating up a relatively easy schedule. they're about like a middle b1g team, should handle them. valporaiso got in the tournament only because they won their easy horizon league tournament. didnt even win the regular season title. 178 rpi, 236 sos. have 2 nice wins- 1/3 against south florida who's in the rpi top 75, and also 1/3 vs arizona state, who owns a 22 rpi. basically they're a 14 or 15-seed in march madness. we beat florida 2/3 in gainesville. it's hard to keep beating a good team so we'll go to battle with them. finished barely over .500 with an rpi of 35, but a sos of 2. won series vs duke, miami, ole miss. split with north florida. duke & north florida in rpi 60-75, miami & ole miss both top 20. beat florida state 1/3. swept south carolina at home who's very comparable to us. also lost their series vs kentucky and got beat by georgia southern. florida state would be tough as shiit. probably ranked in the top 10 all year, 8 rpi, 19 sos. if we beat them in the super regionals, best of 3, thats undoubtedly the 2 biggest wins in program history. of course they have to take care of alabama in their regional. indiana has a 12 rpi, 71 sos. we need to beat up on valpo friday to boost our confidence for austin peay & florida."
