I don't care that the show wasn't picked up. I think it was going to be a reality show so good riddance. I'm appalled that the OP claims we live in an evolved society while he calls them homophobic bigots and creeps because they don't share his views.

It's not so much their views as much as their public behavior.

Since when did disagreeing with gay marriage, abortion and divorce make someone a homophobic bigot?

Another misleading thread title as usual. You need to get laid, badly.

Why not? It's the only way you know how to operate and you expect others to treat you differently?

You mean lawfully protesting? So, again, it's, "Take a stand! Raise your voice! Exercise your First Amendment Rights!"*

*If you're a liberal. Otherwise, shut your hateful mouth, bigot.

It's always made one a bigot.

I got laid last night but I'll ask my wife real nice again tonight.

You can apparently call them bigots with impunity, though.

Once again, liberal protests are righteous while conservative protests are bitter. Your disdain for others with viewpoints that differ from yours is palpable.

Soho claims that Japanese are not "evolved" and that they were recently "barbaric," and then has the nads to claim he is the tolerant, enlightened person. So, let's be clear, all Japanese are lesser humans than Soho. And, anyone who does not celebrate homosexuality are also lesser humans. Or, is that too obtuse?

One) that's not what I said.

Two) anyone who can not tolerate homosexual behavior is less evolved.

Three) the Japanese as a society recently were rather barbaric.

And this is what you call Tyranny.

We are on the doorstep of Thoughtcrime.

Too bad, I will hold whatever opinions I choose. That is the essence of America.

You know the other essence of America? That people who disagree with you have freedom of speech and association too.

People absolutely are free to hold whatever awful opinions or say whatever awful things they want. Of course everyone else has an equal freedom to say "that guy saying those things is an idiot" or "we don't want to be associated with that fool."

Free speech is a limit on the government's ability to punish you for what you say or try to stop you from saying it. It's not a guarantee that there won't be private or social consequences when you say things other people don't like.

There are all kinds of bigots-some of your own opinions in this thread are bigoted, but that's just you.

    Unless you're a photographer/caterer/florist that's been asked to work a gay wedding.

Different analysis, that turns on the issue of whether being forced to provide a service in a non-discriminatory manner counts as compelled speech or not. You wind up there in the quagmire of how anti-discrimination laws interplay with expressive association and determining whether the alleged discriminatory action was on the basis of status or speech. That's a harder question.

"Can I fire someone for saying things that I think are stupid?" is a much easier one. Barring a statute that would make your reason impermissible (and "offensive" isn't a protected class under any anti-discrimination law that I know of) or a specific contractual provision stating otherwise, you can fire someone for pretty much any reason imaginable (or no reason at all).

I do not know anything about these guys. but, if the following paragraph is true, then the only bigotry I see is the OP's title of the thread and the idea that they are cancelled after liberal outrage.

“Anyone who suggests that we hate homosexuals or people of other faiths is either misinformed or lying,” they said. “Over the last decade, we’ve sold thousands of homes with the guiding principle of producing value and breathing life into each family that has crossed our path, and we do not, nor will we ever discriminate against people who do not share our views.”
