A peptide is any collection of amino acids. There's nothing inherently bad with peptides as you consume peptides every day. What you're talking about is peptide hormones, which you aren't going to be buying off of a sports nutrition Web site.

Yeah, so what's your point? Are you trying to nitpick again? You obviously don't eat HGH, so one would assume the same is true for the peptides I was talking about.

And who said anything about a nutritional website. That's your invention. I said Google it.

Are you upset because you were wrong about Jintropin being real HGH? Or do you always have to just nitpick all the time?

HGH is - by definition - that which is produced by and derived from humans. It's what was initially used, extracted from cadavers. It's an actual distinction.

The point is you can't say "peptides" as a blanket term for anything "good" or "bad," because it encompasses a great deal of compounds. So when you say "I wouldn't mess with peptides," it sends an faulty message. You mess with peptides literally every single day.

You're splitting hairs. You knew what I was inferring when I mentioned HGH and peptides in the same breath.

Anyway it's not a big deal if you didn't. But those subcutaneously administered peptides are still safer than HGH. And that's my point.

No one gets HGH from cadavers anymore. It's all sythisized in a lab... it's made up of a chain of 191 amino acids, and yes it's a hormone.

Peptides are also proteins that are always made up of amino acids.

Let me also be clear... one more time - I am not avocating the use of any of these hormones nor any of these peptides/proteins to anyone, for any reason.

I don't know, you're the one that bumped this from June.

HGH = must come from human

GH = synthesized growth hormone meant to mimic HGH.

Maybe all the information on the internet should remind people of that distiction. Me... I already know this fact... that all HGH is just man made GH that is chemically identical to the real thing. And you body desn't know the difference between the two.
