Have no ill feelings towards Manning but can't stand Elway and I'm glad it happened to a team he runs!

Yep, it seemed to me he was miffed when TT started garnering world wide attention and fame after pulling out miracle win after miracle win. Instead of reveling in the moment and trying to build something around TT, he kicked him to the curb, and it seemed like he enjoyed doing it. I certainly don't blame, Peyton, I would have jumped all over the 90 milllion too, had I been fortunate enough to have been in Peyton's shoes.

Answer me this: would you take Manning over Tebow? Tebow will always be my favorite gator of all time. Well, him and Danny. But nobody in their right mind would pick Tebow over Manning. Not you, not me, not any of us... Manning is a legend; Tebow is a great college player that got some what of a raw deal in the pros. Bottom line, he stares down receivers, not the best at reading defenses and has a circus following him. That last one isn't his fault, but that's the way it goes. It ain't easy making it in the NFL as a qb.

    That being said,

    Tebow, get that contract!

I'm not sure anybody would question taking Manning over Tebow right now. That being said, the way Elway went about the whole situation is the problem. Seems he watched Jerry Jones way too much.

Well said. Elway seemed jealous that Tebow had a growing fan base in Denver.

Too bad they only showed one shot of Mr Ed up in the box during the game today. It was very hard to tell if he was wearing his bitter beer face. You know the face, the one he was wearing up in the box back in 2011 as he was watching his QB run it in from about 25yds out for a late game winning td against the NY Jets.

Last night, all I could think about while Payton Manning was getting his xxx handed to him was what would the analysts be saying about Tebows performance this morning had he been the QB in the Super Bowl and played just as well as Manning, who, according to many, is the best QB to have ever played the game.

It was over when the center snapped the ball into the end zone. The look on Peyton's face said it all. And although he'll one day be in Canton to receive his well deserved HOF trophy... he's average at best in SB games.

No we would not trade Peyton for tebow in regards to skill at the position but we certainly can have disdain for Elway for the way he ran tebow off when tebow just wanted to compete and learn and obviously would have approached being Peyton's back up like he does everything else: positively.

Thats understandable but what's not is why you would give Jaggator a negative rating for a pic cracking on elway when it was used in context of defending your supposedly "favorite" gator. That's kind of confusing.

Glad the Seahawks beat Elway's team...for all the reasons listed above. Not a fan of Elway.
