    Quote.... "
In the future, don't hijack threads on the sports boards and force them into TH.....smh

    Thanks"

10-4. ... What did you expect with post tilted "GOD put me in this situation for a reason," with emphasis on GOD.

I meant a new thread in TH, btw, as not to taint this board.

Why emphasize GOD in the title? Why not Name it "Ahern's jail letter?"

Not ignorant, just bigoted towards anyone with religion apparently.

    But not ignorant.

Worthy of discussion? Maybe even the topic of discussion based on title?

Anytime you start your own thread you can title it what you want. Jag prolly figured it would end up here anyway.

Are you just looking to randomly get upset about something, even if there's nothing to get upset about?

It should be. Nearly all of them are making miraculous claims of innocence.

This thread is taking a bizarre twist. AH has a giant tat of Jesus on his back and is referencing the will of God in his letters, but he's not a Christian? WTH? AH obviously thinks he's a Christian. What am I missing?

He has an odd way of showing it. Tats are forbidden in the Biblical text:

Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.
    Leviticus 19:28

Tattoos do not make you a Christian. Invoking the name of God does not make you a Christian.

The disciples asked Christ how will they be able to identify false prophets. He told them you will know them by their acts.

OTOH, if he did truly accepted Jesus Christ as his lord and savior, I have no way of knowing if he did, and he repents for his sins and asks for forgiveness, he will be forgiven. It doesn't mean he will escape punishment, it just means he will be forgiven for his sins.

The line where he writes "This has humbled me ALREADY and changed me forever" seems almost like he is saying I have served my time and you should let me go. He capitalized it and underlined it twice, just seems odd.

I'm assuming the prison jump-suit is made from mixed fabrics too.

Perhaps but often trying times are the motivation for people to truly find Jesus and God.
