Hey, I want to make sure you are completely informed, but it's not difficult to get this information yourself. I don't have the time to be your search genie.

Anything with an SEC Network affiliate will probably be the best you can get. And that's probably all options in Raleigh.

Timewarner is the big cable company up here.

Also of note is that there is a huge Gator club in the area that has viewing parties for every football game. You can find more info here...

PS. Welcome to the Raleigh area!

Time Warner Cable has a channel (not high def) and it seems every Gator game has been broadcast for the last 7-8 years that I can think of.

    Ok heres the rundown:

No Cox, I don't think we have Comcast either.

    - Time Warner: We have Time Warner but everyone HATES them, including me. Although they are probably the "best" cable choice for gator games, their service is unreliable and their customer service is horrible. I missed the entire first half of the Auburn MNC game because their service was out JUST for ESPN, somehow. Terrible. Here is why I say its the best though for gator games: The worst part about living in NC is that the "ACC Game of the Week" runs on CBS every Saturday and it starts at 12:30 meaning that it runs FAR into the 330 CBS game of the week, which Florida plays in A LOT (even if they don't its one of the best games of the week and I don't want to be watching DUKE - BC slug it out). So Time Warner has basically a "CBS2" channel that will show the SEC game (in non-HD mind you, but at least its there).

AT&T Uverse - This is what I have. The service is flawless. Customer Service is amazing. Its a little pricier but well worth it. However, there is no "CBS2" so when those ACC games bleed over, you will have to stream it from your computer to your TV or watch on an iPad or something. Sucks but well worth it for not having Time Warner for the rest of the year. During football season I add the $7/mo package to get NFL Red Zone and it also comes with SunSports so you get Breakfast with the Gators and the Will Mushchamp show on Sunday.

Satellite - I don't know anyone that has it, so I don't know much about it. But I would imagine by nature of satellite service you would be more likely to avoid the dreaded local ACC Game of the Week fiasco.

Let me know if you have any more questions, I'd be happy to help.

Whatever you do don't get dish network especially this time of year with storms and cold fronts about to come in, it will make you miserable because you'll only see half the game. My mom has dish network in Alabama I hated visiting there during football season.

I've got Dish Network, and no, you don't avoid the BS ACC game issue. In fact, they will keep it on the ACC game to listen to the coaches post game speeches sometimes, and the stupid announcers summary. Couple years ago we missed nearly the whole 1st half of the UF/FSU game because the Virginia BC game (or some such crap) was going into double overtime.

    Ugg...

Like I said above, I have Dish and don't have this problem.

A REAL bad storm where the sky is totally black will take down the dish maybe 3-4 times a year, but generally in those situations I'm starting to think about unplugging all the stuff anyway to protect from lightning surges.

Also, when I did have Time Warner, it seemed like everytime it rained it went out anyway due to some idiot spinning off the road and hitting a pole or who knows what.

Yes! OMG when they stick around to do the coaches interview I want to throw my remote through the TV. THEN they will go to commercial THEN to the game. The one year LSU was already beating us like 21-0 by the time it switched over so that was fun for me.

The worst (other than double OT) is freaking UNC and Fedora's offense. His games take so long and always run well over. At least CBS has a great, free stream of the game every week and we can get that going. Ive tried to complain to WRAL but they really couldn't care less.

We have that problem all year-round in central Florida. Maybe they (Dish and direct TV) need to go back to the monster 6' dishes I used to see in lawns.
