We can keep going on this, but I think we all get the point. With "actual" sign up rates averaging less than 1%, prices way higher than advertised, and the "government hub" down (Hub checks subsidy eligibility against data bases), perhaps the pubs should just fund this turkey and let it implode.

If Obamacare implodes it will be Bush's fault some how.

The Hub server designed to match applicants for eligibility (e-verify) and IRS records for income, and employment records is not working so those who think they may be getting subsidies cannot find out what they actually are. And several experts have quietly predicted the Hub server will not actually be working for at least one month.

Hmmmm. So big businesses are given a pass and there are thousands of exemptions but the folks don't get a pass for a year with no fine.

This is working out pretty good for the GOP. They get to spend years putting up barriers to the rollout of the exchanges, and then get to point to problems with the rollout of the exchanges as proof that they were right.

Not only that, they can refuse the Medicaid expansion and then point to the millions still ininsured because they refused to expand Medicaid.

To blame this on the GOP is laughable.

The states you list above, with the exception of CA, have Tea Party Pub governors who haven't been shy about their tactics to push back against Obamacare and it's implementation in their states.

What about the states with Demo governors like CA? NY? PA? The exchanges are a cluster. You could almost predict they would be. If this had been outsourced to say....IBM....would this have happened?

I'm sure everyone is calm, cool and collected and there will be no blow back toward the federal government, state government or Doofus. And if things continue to go badly, somehow it will be someone else's fault and the Pubs idea of delaying the fines/mandate for a year, somehow contributed to whatever happens.

Everything is just peachy. Working like a well oiled machine. Rhode Island actually had 250 people apply yesterday. Now, not all of them paid, but isn't that awesome news! And nationwide, approximate one half of one percent of those going on to the exchanges are actually applying. Maybe they should have used direct mail where the typical response rate is 1-2%.

I really haven't sensed much of a demand for this from the public the past year outside of those interviewed by CNN and the like.

Nope, people from states where Medicaid was not expanded will have to pay for insurance or do without. And if they fall within the range where medicaid should have covered them, they'll get no subsidy, so they will go without because they can't afford it. So, nothing is actually changing there.

thing it, it is a far , far better sign in favor of ACA that the websites are so flooded with people accessing the sites. It shows people are interested and willing to give it a chance

It would be a clear failure of ACA if people were not accessing the sites.

What the flooding of the exchange websites simply means is that either the states or federal govt will have to beef up the websites ability to handle a large amount of traffic.
Most likely their are provisions in the ACA legislation that mandates that either the state beefs up the website or the fed govt will beef it up.

You really don't know why people are accessing the sites and what their motives for interest are. This pathetic stat cannot be spun as a positive despite the fat white liberal media's desperate attempt to do so.
