Again, this whole legislation is political. Nancy Pelosi could care less about my health care...

    http://news.investors.com/ibd-edito...nd-left-wing-groups-with-taxpayer-dollars.htm

If you have to keep it a secret, you probably shouldn't be doing it.

But the California legislature and the new Covered California health insurance exchange are conspiring to keep secret how they will dole out more than half a billion dollars in taxpayer dollars to contractors. The lion's share of the money is going for what the exchange budget terms "outreach."

In truth, the money is going to build Democratic Party enrollment.

What is known so far suggests that California politicians are exploiting health reform to enroll millions of the uninsured in the Democratic Party and fill the coffers of left-wing interest groups with taxpayer money.

Last month, Covered California announced $37 million in grants to 48 organizations to build public awareness about the opening of the health exchange on Oct. 1. Of the 48 organizations that got grants, only a handful are health-care related. The California NAACP received $600,000 to do door-to-door canvassing and presentations at community organizations. Service Employees International Union, which says its mission is "economic justice," received two grants totaling $2 million to make phone calls, robo-calls and go door to door. The Los Angeles County Federation of Labor AFL-CIO got $1 million for door-to-door, one-on-one education and social networking

The template is repeated in every state. The Obama health law creates a permanent stream of funding for unions and community activists by outsourcing insurance enrollment to them.

^^ so why are YOUR quoted sources always correct, and everyone else's is wrong?

"Someone said it" in your quotes and posts too.

Why don't you...as you are notorious for barking for others to do....provide a link disproving the OP?

The government as an entity will continue to grow in size & power. It's workers will attempt to destroy anyone that threatens their power. The IRS targeting conservatives is just the beginning, much worse is to come. Conservatives have to fight the the dems, the media, the education system, the unions, the entertainment industry & now the government. Our own taxes are being funneled to our enemies. The end game is a slave state like North Korea.

Good grief. Read the story. In California, grants went to 48 organization to spread the word about the health care, issued by the California group, not Obama. The writer (who has claimed all kinds of stuff about Obamacare: death panels, euthanizing seniors, etc.) found three or four that are liberal. Therefore, the entire purpose of the health care exchanges is to make everyone a Democrat.
    Right.
By the way, some other groups that got grants: California Council of Churches, Catholic Charities of California, University of Southern California, United Ways of California, St. Francis Medical Center ....

Justice Roberts was right, this is nothing more than a tax that was passed to directly help the Democrats in power stay in power and tax us even more.

When there is a tax of everyone, that goes directly to one party, is that Constitutional? I don't think so.
