To all of my Gator friends here on NBN I hope you have a great season. I really think Florida and UK will be in the Final Four.

I will not be posting much, but I will read often. There are some great UF basketball fans on this site and I hope the team gives you tons to be happy about.

    It won't be long now!

Any particular reason for your happiness this season, Jeff?

No offense, Jeff, but I am wishing that UK has a year this time just like last year.

Yes we are loaded and I expect us to be pretty damn good. It could be the most talented team since 96. They have to be their brothers keeper for us to do great things however.

It certainly would be better for college basketball. Then coaches might well go back to trying to develop teams and coach their way to success.

Perhaps when Stern retires. I agree with the two year in college but I will always want the best of the best.

The point of the thread was good luck this year to my NBN crew. These arguments have gotten old and settle nothing.

    1. Everyone wants the best players who want to come to their school.

    2. I was not responding to your post, but rather to GatorLuker's post.

    3. The argument that has gotten old and never settled is whether or not Calipari is a cheat or just really, really, really, unlucky that a player of one final four team of his took cash from an agent and other player from a final four team of his had a ringer take the SAT or ACT for him. This argument, whether all one and dones is the best way to build a program, is an empirical and we get a new data observation each year.

Same to you, Jeff! Any reason you'll be posting less, outside of your kid?

Can't believe college basketball is almost upon us again. Can't wait to see all the new faces on the Gator roster this year!

Don't blame you at all. Hopefully you'll continue to chime in. Despite my hate for the Cats, I always enjoy your insight! It's really morphing into one of the better college basketball rivalries, IMO.

I can't blame you but I will say you will be missed. I never undertstood how every other comment you made, even if it was something like kevin stallings is an ass (I dont know if you ever said that but he is :) ) turned into a calipari cheats rants.

Hope you guys have a great OOC season and win one less SEC game than us.

Jeff your one of the greatest college basketball fans on this board and your un-biased and incredibly upbeat insight has been refreshing. There have been other great contributors (who were Gator fans) felt the same way. I understand your feelings, but just know the ones creating drama are in the minority. Best of luck this season and look forward to hopefully reading more posts from you!

Jeff is the main reason I started posting (debatable if that's good or bad - haha). I saw how a rival fan was able to participate in discussions outside the context of being a rival fan and outside of (obviously inside also) topics that involved his school of choice.

I can see how every other UK poster (including myself) can be hard to receive at times. But I can't see how this is possible with Jeff.
