Bill, looks like the only people signing up are the "chronic condition" folks who cannot go directly through insurers due to underwriting. Or those who will qualify for big subsidies and get a plan for next to nothing. Not sure re state exchanges but the Federal exchange plans seem to have severe limitations on doc choices, hospital choices, med choices. Plus, the security risk.

I'm guessing that when Jan 1st rolls around, we will have approximately 5 M less insured than we did a year ago. According to our insurance agent, people who have been kicked off existing plans are scrambling but the exchange options are not very good.

I think the people who are signing up do not understand that their information in many cases is not even getting to the carrier because the backend of the website is not working.

Well Bill, I guess the TH crowd is similar to the nation. Relatively speaking, crickets. Or no one wants to admit they spent 16 days trying.

Well there has to be something written because it's functioning, however horribly. At least I was led to believe some people have enrolled and received their policy. This guy told me

Obama-scam/extortion/tax is the perfect add for Life Lock... Well played.

Lifelock is a total scam and protects you from nothing. It's no wonder it gets pushed by a scam artist like Limbaugh.

But how do we know that the average thief might find it harder to steal with Life Lock then without it? Do you trust the Obama healthcare site? I trust life lock will try to keep my stuff safe, but know that Obama-scam/extortion/tax warns people of their information being in peril... or at least they worn that they can't guarantee the privacy of your info..

In the end... Life Lock might have holes of it's own, but at least the info you give them won't be given/shared to/with all the agencies in the government which will increases the odds exponentially that your info will be stolen by a hacker.

You can sue Life Lock for your money they lost through theft, but can you sue the government for money stolen or lost?
