It makes sense that UK fans would be more on top of those prospective rule changes.
Willis's dad said that is 100% false. I wish Forde would shut his damn mouth....he makes stuff about Kentucky all the time...I wish someone would call him out about it.
So what would happen if all the upper classman and then all the freshman decide to go pro next year...now that would be interesting to see....of course the freshman that were promised minutes and an opportunity to showcase themselves for the NBA have now realized they probably have to come back for another year as well.
Cal has always been clear (and recruit's quotes have backed this up) that he never promises minutes or starting spots.
That being said, having the vast majority of UK's contributors leave at once is always a risk with how Cal has built teams lately. Its happened before and it'll happen again. UK lost everyone after the title in 2012 and it made it back to the title game two years later. Always a chance for that ugly year in between though.
Actually all of the incoming freshmen were on twitter asking them to please stay as they would like the opportunity to play with them. Our incoming class doesn't have a one and done as I have said over and over. I don't care what the draft boards say...that's a bunch of silliness like the brackets before the season even starts.
I understand you hate Calipari, but perhaps our new freshmen want to be at Kentucky and realize that if you stay more than one year..you ARENT a failure..you are normal. I find it amazing that media people bitch when our players leave early AND when they decide to stay...you can't have it both ways..although if you hate someone or a school bad enough you can always think of negatives.
Sorry Jeff....most people dont hate UK. They dont like Cal though. Huge difference between the two.
I understand totally!
Leftitfly...why disagree with my post? Willis's dad did say 100% false and Forde is an ass...how could you disagree with that?
Agreed on this. Also, to this point the guys staying takes a TON of pressure off the Freshman.
The UK vs. UF games will be incredible next year. This could be the most future NBA talent in a game from the SEC in a long time.
Horrford & Murphy coming in balance the sizing of this match up.
I'd give the edge in ball handling to FL though, mostly because of 3rd options(non guard) on the floor together. Having players like DFS and D. Walker with the experience of handling pressure.
So, next year he will blame the refs instead of his players?
