Halfway there

    Well, I've officially made it halfway to my goal. It's taken way way way longer then it should have, but I'm now down nearly 40 lbs (technically 38).

    All through diet, haven't managed to find the time to exercise since about November.

    I did attempt a 5k yesterday though. Ran/walked, slow, but hey, I finished.

    Only 30-40 more lbs to go. :angry::laugh:

    Sure u can lose weight without exercising, my doctor says 'you can't exercise it off it's an intake problem' I personally think exercising accelerates the process tho...

    Congratulations! That's a really impressive. Speaking from experience, don't take a break from what you're doing, it's not fun puting back on any of your loss.

    Spoke to two people tonight. One lost fifty pounds and has kept it off two years. The other lost thirty pounds and has kept it off for a year. When I ask them their secret for keeping the weight off, they both said the same thing:

    they lost weight eating the foods they enjoy.

    Thanks for the encouragement! It's nice, I'm still overweight, clearly, but I'm getting my old level of energy back. Another 10-20 lbs and I'll be able to carve another hour out of my sleep schedule to start working out.
