I am sold on roper, now granted I am in a buying mood as are most of us, but I really liked what he had to say and the way he said it..we will see I guess, but I bought...

I think the biggest difference will be the pace and the desire not to have Jeff sit and think too much, kids a spectacular athlete that needs to rely on that more..1 or two reads max, then go.

I think quicker pace will be good for him too.

I have a feeling Jeff will take less hits with the hurry-up offense

I think having Chaz Green back and DJ Humphries a year older and healthier IM COMBINATION with the offense being totally in the shot gun, will reduce the hits and pressure on Jeff greatly.

It's on him now to make good decisions.

A healthier O line should end the nightmare that was 2013 memory.

Who knows, other than depth at TB, I am not sure exactly what we have on O.

I hope our OL can be healthy and cohesive, I hope one of our TBs can be a big play threat as well as a move the chains guy, I hope JD can execute the plays that are called without undergoing brain freeze and throwing late over the middle, I hope that one of our bevy of young, talented WRs can break out and provide a deep threat, but they are just hopes.

On paper, there are enough talented bodies to make an offense, but I really don't know what to expect.

Nobody knows what to expect, but I think all the signs are pointing in the right direction..but your comment on Jeff is spot on, I don't want him having to read to much I want him relying on his legs more and one ore two quick reads.

In this video at the :55 mark, whether I believe it or not, Muschamp says that all OCs have had 'full autonomy' for play calling.

Regarding the depth chart at RB, one of two things isn't likely. I know I'm the biggest Mack Brown homer on the board, but no way does he play behind Mack. He is either the #2/#1-B running back, or he plays a different role in this offense. I think it's the latter. Like someone posted on the first page of this thread, I can see him on the field with Taylor or Brown. He's just an entirely different athlete. He is also the best pure receiver out of our backfield. This isn't a commentary on what we've seen from him at UF, but what I saw from him in high school. He piled up running yards, but it was mostly toss sweeps or plays where he got to get his feet going before he hit the LOS. When he ran pass patterns and stretched out to catch balls thrown over his shoulders, he looked a high D-1 quality WR. He's also built more like a hybrid WR/TE than a RB. I don't think he's in the mix with all the TEs and FBs, except he'll likely replace one of them when he comes on the field. He's not a utility guy. He's a weapon and he should be used that way. Maybe we run him out of power formations, who knows, but he's got to get the ball.

Best rb in our backfield right now is Kelvin Taylor. I like Jones but i think lost his best shot last year with his illness. I think he ends up at fb eventually.

Hope he proves me wrong though.

I think before anyone can rate the backfield there should be a ranking of the O-line. A good O-line can make a hohum backfield look like a million dollars. On the other hand a bad O-line can make a great backfield look like chit.

B Back should be a very good fit for him, I think.

It was his play v FSU that gave all of us and I think the coaches as well the idea that he could be another 1000 rusher.

I think if you look at the last 20 minutes of the 2012 UF-FSU game without O&B glasses, the way UF just gashed FSU had less to do with UF's greatness than the quit in FSU.

Not sure what we have in Jones, last year was his window for sure, too bad his illness then his knee injury closed the window before he had a chance.
