He's the run version of SOS b/c that's the talent he has.

Give him a good dual option qb and a couple great receivers and he could be a nightmare. Great coach.

Auburn was lucky that Alabama kicker missed 3 field goals.

You think Muschamp would have had someone back there to field the kick if it was short? I don't think so.

Great coaching? Lucky as hell but not great coaching. Lucky that bammer FG kickers are as bad as ours. Aubrin going for it with a lot of time on their 30 something was just stupid.

Houston Nutt had him as offensive coordinator at Arkansas but wouldn't let him run his offense because Nutt didn't like it. What's Nutt doing now?
Another example of ignorant types who don't know anything about offense trying to harness those who do.

That 4th down call was just stupid. But remember, not only did Malzahn bring Aubarn into the game with a chance to win the SEC West, he did it with a team that was blown out by 'Bammer the last two years. Oh, and without a true QB.

And people on here called Malzahn an idiot back then and even now. He has what, the #2 rushing offense in the country? And people still believe he didn't want to run the ball at Arky?

Fans on here also think you absolutely have to have a vertical passing scheme. Auburn with 97 yards passing, 37 on a pass that went 8 yards in the air.

Fans think every mutually contradictory idea, simultaneously.

It's incredible how Malzahn has ascended from a low level high school head coach to now a coach of a program with a chance to make the national title game. He put in his time, and he has shown he is a damn good coach.

People here didn't like Malzahn b/c he talked Damian Willis and Ben Cleveland out of their commitments to go with Mustain and him to Arky.

Well he does at least take some shots downfield which you really have to do, so I'll give those posters that. One would've been a walk to the endzone if it wasn't the worst pass ever.
