Much better prices then I have found around here including Walmart. Publix is a great store but but higher than anyone else also. Walmart is great prices and a terrible place to shop. Winn Dixie is right in the middle of the two and other than Aldi that is the choice around Gainesville FL. Never adjusted to shopping at Aldi. Tried once or twice a few years ago.

Eggs are right at $2ish at Aldi. Well over $3 at Publix. Multiply that by several items of same quality including non perishables that don't matter if they are name brand or not like black beans and other items.

I appreciate people's affinity for the familiarity and cleanliness of Publix but they have lost their minds with their pricing.

Dude I've read enough of your posts to have a good handle on your Trumpkianness. Your orange god can do no wrong in your mind, and Biden can do no right. #sad

The used motorcycle market is improving for the buyer. Selling is tough unless you have something really special at a great price.

Please show me one from the last three year where I suggest Trump can do no wrong.

Just because I think Biden isn’t the savior of the Post pandemic economy doesn’t mean I want Trump to be anywhere near the Oval office again. I’ve been very clear on that.
You can be critical of someone that doesn’t mean you support the other guy or is that too complex an idea for you?

To be honest, anyone that doesn't come out and state the Trump was a fraud on the economy isn't reputable. Deficit funded tax cuts -fiscal stimulus- does not an economic policy make.

And the turd is out stumping by promising MORE tax cuts, precisely when we need deficit reduction.

Of course, this is just like every other Trump "policy" - nothing but hot air. And, of course, just like every other Trump endeavor in life; spend or consume now, try to con someone ELSE into footing the bill for it.

Come on man, you’re gonna bitch about Trump tax cuts and ignore the huge increase in what the US Gov brings in since 2020? And still the deficit grows like mad.
It’s not a revenue problem at this point it’s a spending problem. I’m sure you just ignore the massive spending on covid and the decreased revenue due to shuttering the economy also.
    Talk about not being serious.

Basically all the incentives are to predict doom and gloom until it occurs. Zero PR downside in predicting a pullback and being wrong. Tons of PR downside of saying trends are strong and then a pullback occurs.

Unless you think a big pullback is coming and miss a giant run.
Some money managers main goal is a 5% yearly return and no loss of capital.
Depends on your timeline and risk tolerance.

I was thinking more about media not necessarily money managers but Jamie Dimon has been calling for a recession for over 2 years and finally has waffled a bit recently. I really can’t pinpoint the overly negative sentiment regarding everything that has emerged since covid. It’s like the pandemic ripped the hope and balance from nearly everyone.

Understood, so it’s not just the alt right wing guys calling for a possible recession.

Dimon is thought of very highly in many circles.
CNBC is really the only “news” I listen to, I see the ebb and flow of the group think. When they want to push the market they do, when they want to crush it they do.
It’s almost like if a rally goes before the deep money gets in they get pissed and decide to talk it down.

Target’s stock is up on this news, which tells you it’s not gonna wreck their bottom line and furthers the point about profits. But I don’t think big stores like this realize the depth of frustration, people aren’t gonna come racing back.

These fast food prices sure seem like they've increased a ton in the last 4 years.
