We want to do a bracket contest to have everyone vote on the Greatest Gator Walk off play. The way it would work is that posters would nominate a play by posting a video (You Tube, Twitter, some other link) of the particular play and a reason why you think the play should be included in the contest. After we get a sufficient number of plays nominated we will create a bracket and have a series of polls voting between two plays for one of them to move forward in the bracket. (Think NCAA Basketball bracket) To qualify as a walk off play it has to be the last play of the game. Basketball, baseball, and softball lend themselves to these type of plays more than football or volleyball. However, Jarvis Moss's block in the 06 USC game would qualify as it was the last play of the game. Doering's got a TD, would not qualify as we still had to kick off after that play. We did decide that Chiozza's steal and layup versus Mizzou last season would count as there was just 0.1 left on the clock and you can not run a play in that time. I would also think the last event in a track and field meet would qualify as well, it is usually the 4 X 100 or the 4 X 400 relay. So, reply to this thread with your nomination for the Greatest Gator Walk Off Play. Be sure to give a reason why as well.
