Obama attempts to apologize.
^^^the look on her face is priceless!
C'mon man....I don't care who the First Lady is--she's a WIFE and a woman, before she's the First Lady. When any husband flirts with anotehr woman--right in front of their wife--that is a slap in her face, an insult, and complete disrespect.
I'd frankly have lost respect for Michele, if she controlled her natural inclinations, and seemed like she was trying to play it off as no big deal.
She's a human being. Props to the photog., for capturing real human emotion in these pics., that so clearly portray the human dynamics unraveling before the camera.
Or maybe all might not be what it seems. From the photographer...
Apparently the threat of an IRS audit did its trick.
And perhaps THIS isn't what it would seem either. Once this went viral, it would be very feasible that the WH "could" have gotten in touch with the photographer and 'encouraged' them to make a statement downplaying the incident. Not saying it did happen...nor saying it didn't. Just that this group of photos took off like rocket once they were posted and it makes one wonder what the photographer was thinking when they posted them. Surely he would have known exactly how they would have been perceived---and it is likely that they WERE what everyone thinks...Hussein acting flirty in front of his wife.
Playing a bit of devil's advocate here, but I can't believe the photographer is surprised by the perception of these photos--he knew exactly how they would be viewed before they were ever posted. My gut hunch tells me this 'clarification' is a result of being told what to say by the WH. None of us will really know, but I find it a bit hard to swallow the photographer's story now....after the fact....of what was 'taken out of context'.
Serious question, can you stop using the blue font? thanks.
As for the substance, that's kind of comical. You realize this wasn't the WH photographer, right? That it was some French media photog who doesn't answer to the president.
Tough on the eyes for me. Gettin old
Is this Black better? I thought the Deep Blue made it easier to read than the default grey--but going to flat black should be easier on all of us.
Anyway---yes I know it wasn't the WH photographer, as there would NO WAY he would have taken those or released them. But regardless of who took them, I would not be surprised that the WH got a message to the photographer encouraging them to explain them away....a face saving measure if nothing else. And as I noted--it 'could' be as explained, but also 'could' be that this explanation was orchestrated. None of us will ever know. I just am not going to take the explanation at face value simply because some photographer says so. These guys have cameras which can spit out shots at multiple frames per second....why would he have not released some of the other photos which would back up their story? Again--not denying it isn't feasible, just accepting the first appearance could very well be what everyone is making a stink about.
Yeah, flat back is much better. Thank you. It was hard on my eyes, especially when there's a lot of text.
Fair enough. Personally, I find it kind of ludicrous that folks would think the WH would contact him--not over something is actually quite trivial. Even the Danish PM was saying they were all having a little fun, which was in the "spirit" of what was going on in the stadium. In any case, not a big deal really. I still think the appearance of her being angry is funny, regardless (though many people 'look angry' when they are not smiling, and MO).
The elder Bush is the only conservative ex-president currently alive. And he may have been too old to travel, not feeling well, etc.
That one seals the deal on the conjecture........
And which one's face
LOL! Good point. I was referring to Michele's, but the PM's is pretty telling too, now that you mention it.
I can see a bubble over Michele's head saying "...um hmmm....gonna' take a lot more than that, Barry...I'm think'n a couple of carats..."
But the PM...she looks like she's think'n "...yeah, he was digg'n on me....and she didn't like it one bit...".
Whatever the actual dynamics were, these pic's are funny as hell.
I showed my wife the series of 4-5 last night and she agreed, "yup, he in trouble...".
Us men are pretty dumb sometimes..
