Me too. All we need is for Clemson to win and then have Cecil coming telling us how little difference there is between the ACC and SEC top teams.

One ACC win isn't the end of the SEC's dominance.

If Clemson can run 85 plays they win. In order to run those offensive plays they'll have to get some stops on UGA. We'll see how much of an impact a new DC can have if Venables' can stop UGA's all world RB's and Murray too.

Spur's gets them next week. That will give USCe's DL a real test. I think UGA's D will at least be in mid season form after these two tough offenses.

Unfortunately, I see this game playing out just like last years Clemson/FSU game. Very high scoring w Clemson running out of gas and losing to uga by ten or so. 48-38 Too much Gurley.....(unfortunately)

They beat LSU in the bowl game and it will be the first time in history that a team outside of the sec beat 2 top 10 sec teams in a row and yes they consider it in a row ESPN has mentioned it multiple times

Not a Dabo fan but always liked Clemson in these border war games. Hoping for a beat down. That orange and purple looks pretty good running into the endzone. Not too worried about ACC dominance. Kind of an oxymoron.

Well, I'll be a glass half full kind of guy and look at the outcome of this game as a win-win.

If UGAly loses... Well they lose, and that's always okay in my book.

If Clemson loses, it's a win for the SEC, and it'll shut up the SEC hating prognosticators who said USC would struggle with UNC, among other early season SEC upset predictions.

I have not pulled for an acc team to beat an SEC team since fsu joined the acc. Not starting now. I hope UGA runs them out of the dome....Then goes 0-8 in the SEC.

True but I didn't say it was. I was talking about claims by Cecil, not actual fact.

Georgia wins by two TDs. Clemson's defense is garbage.

And? So Clemson might beat two top ten SEC teams. So what? Two wins is nothing compared to all the championships the SEC has won.

Of course ESPN is going to say that. They're just trying to add fuel to the fire. The more fire, the more ratings.... More ratings, more money. Clemson will beat the poodles, and eventually flame out near the end of the season. (As always)

Regardless, Espn will continue to praise us as the best conference in the nation. (As always)

    Fear not!

He who roots for an ACC team over an SEC team especially a team that we play does not understand how the BCS works and I'm not going to try to explain it to them. They think like this..... "I hate the dawgs so I will root against them no matter what! Even if them winning means we go to the SEC CG to play the west champ!" AH DUH! The DAWGS SUCK I understand that but that's not all I understand. My goal is for the GAtors to get to the SEC CG! So I root accordingly. Losing to another conference does not hurt UGA's chances of getting to Atlanta but I don't expect you to comprehend.

This is why the BCS is the downfall of college football. :). You have to root for teams you dislike.

I bet most responses here correlate to the age of the poster. I'm from the era when beating uga was everything. Someone else beating them was second best.
