Gmail is the worst! I only use it for one of my accounts that I don't really email much.

Yahoo was the best. They made me change from classic. It's still better than the rest out there, but not as good.

A good reason to adapt to new changes is that you can pop out to a new window or stay with in the popup so you can check e-mail and compose at the same time instead of opening a new instance of g-mail.

It's actually very good for me. I send lots of large attachments through email.

When I first saw the new pop-up window, I was disappointed as you were. Then I figured out that I could click send on the new email in the pop-up and go back to my inbox to do more work, like sending another large file. In the past, I had to wait to send a new email until the first one had finished uploading and sending. Saves me a lot of time.

I love Gmail. Can't imagine using anything else - not Outlook, not Yahoo.

I've used Gmail since it was invite only. I personally think it's the best web-based email out there. Their SPAM filters have been exponentially better than Yahoo, Hotmail, etc. for a very long time and my friends with Yahoo email accounts went through a time where their accounts were getting hacked like crazy.

Funny how opinions vary so much in this thread.

Thank goodness for having more than one flavor of ice cream.

Gmail works the best, but there are privacy issues, not from hackers, but from Google itself. Something was announced a day or two ago that Gmail users should beware.
