UF can have something to say about FSU.

I have no real issue with OSU making it. They're not a rival, I don't abjectly hate Meyer for some bizarre reason, they're not in-conference.

FSU directly hurts the Gators. Even if they get pummeled by Alabama (or OSU, unlikely).

We have a shot to make it stop - one of the biggest upset possibilities in UF history. Certainly bigger than 1997.

Or if Bama loses, we might get both. OSU vs FSU. That would be a calamity game.

If either of them face Stanford or Baylor (through some miracle) you can probably rest a little easier.

There would be a lot of controversy if Stanford, who lost to Utah, goes ahead of an undefeated OSU.

However, after Baylor destroyed Oklahoma last night, would likely pass OSU if they remain undefeated including a victory of the other OSU in Stillwater.

I still want to see a repeat of how our 1997 regular season ended :joecool:

If Baylor wins out I think they pass tOSU. Baylor still plays TT (ranked #25 right now), @Okie St (ranked top 15), TCU and Texas (could be ranked by then).

tOSU could play two more ranked teams. Michigan could climb back into the rankings if they win their next two, and Michigan State could be top 10 by the Big10 title game. But I think Michigan blows another game before then, so tOSU is only left with good wins against MSU and Wisc.

    What a terrible conundrum.

We have to cheer for osu so f$u doesn't make the title game? I mean... what have we done to deserve this?

Wishful thinking or not, Baylor has the tougher schedule, and if they win out handily, there is a chance they can jump both. Computers will love Baylor if they win against Texas, Oklahoma St, and Texas Tech.

It's funny. Just a few short weeks ago, we had several threads talking about this was the year we were going to have many undefeated teams.

It's a rather predictable thread every year, and then everything sorta finds a way of shaking itself out.

I really hope we can do something about FSU's title shot. And if we can't, I hope one of their other opponents can. All of my FSU friends, including my GF, are so high after last nights Oregon loss. All my friends keep saying "WE WANT BAMA" totally ignoring the fact that they still have 4 more games to play! My GF hasn't said that yet, but any time I bring it up, she laughs at me and continually says UF doesn't stand a chance.

I would HAPPILY take not getting laid for several weeks for a UF win over FSU... It means that much to me!

And get ready to watch either one of them get plastered by Bama.

I agree. I'd be an OSU fan on that night. Curious, why do you think it would be bigger than 97? Because we're worse this year than we were in 97?

That is the funniest thing Ive read on these boards in a while. Youve got to overcome the ADVERSITY in the bedroom!!!! LOL

On edit.....oh yeah, it wont matter if Bama wins out. You give Satan 4 weeks to prepare and they destroy either. Baylor might be the best matchup vs Bama from what I saw last night.
