I still chuckle over 2004, when the narrative was Bush the dummy vs. Kerry the towering intellect and W's Yale grades were cited as evidence of his intellectual shortcomings. After the election Kerry's college grades came to light and it turned out that his Yale GPA was actually (very slightly) lower than W's.

He did not say he liked him, just said Bush had a higher college GPA than Kerry!

Defending him is implied as liking.

I'm guessing you don't feel like Bush was dishonest...

His intentions were completely noble, dispute some miscues, however large, right?

108- I have stated my thoughts on Iraq numerous times and do not feel the need to repeat them for you as I am pretty sure you have read them
Did Bush make mistakes when prez-absolutely
do I think he was dishonest-NO - mistaken YES
in his last 2 years in office did he lead-in my opinion NO
    is he prez now- NO

regardless if you think any of what we say is hypocritical because of whatever Bush did or did not do is moot-he has been out of office for over 5 years- this issue at hand is the dishonesty and OUTRIGHT LIES your prez has done and the damage he is now doing to this country- you and shab can bitch all you want about Bush-it will not change a damned thing about how prezBHO is doing his job and the direction his regime wants to take us

As someone who was in briefings with both on a few NIEs that we had to present, I can say: neither is a dummy. Both are very obviously intelligent and ask smart, informed, poignant questions.

They do have *very* different styles and personalities though. Bush encouraged roundtable debates, but would make a decision by the end. Obama prefers a more lawerly style: he listened, asked a few questions, and you usually didn't find out what he'd decided until later.

Interesting insight. Bush must have talked to Bernanke and his other bosses before the briefings and Obama talks to them after.

the one thing, the most important thing..that you guys cannot come up with...is a motive.

there was no reason to lie about anything. you think that the OA wanted that embassy/outpost to be attacked? what's your hypothesis for that? you don't have one. and you know this. if there was anything to this, by now, something....anything....well, something big would have happened to the perpetrators of this immense fraud!!! i mean, the entire republican army is out to find the truth!
    :D
this is the absolute worst case of beating a dead horse that i've ever seen in politics.
but of course, due to this 'newsflash' about these 'incriminating' emails, google has now been carpet bombed and totally bogged down (and thereby rendered useless) with tons of rightwingy 'news' sources reporting this crap, so it's damn near impossible to find out any real information. will now have to wait on 'real research' (to find out the exact whereabouts of the CIC...was he on the crapper? was he playing hoops? or golf? was he worshipping at a secret mosque? was he with a gay lover? was he altering his past report cards, from 'F's to 'A's? was he brainstorming new ways to lead donald trump off the track of his secret birth circumstances? tune in again, next week, same time, same *yawn* place!!! same bat-shit-crazy channel!)****

****if i've left out any nutty conspiracy theories regarding our president, please forgive me. it's just so difficult to keep up with crazy!

    there is motive

just like the lies on the ACA- had he told the truth about not being able to keep your plan public sentiment would havbe put way too much pressure on Congress and it would never have passed

his motives on Benghazi were because he was afraid if it got out he was never even in the situation room one time and then flew off to Vegas for a fundraiser it would have affected his reelection

Many of us form opinions of politicians and posters based on what we read. Soho, wonder what many on too hot think of you?

We see the affect of a President who "thinks" he is the smartest guy in the room. We see a President whose ideology has contributed to annual gdp growth rate of 2.2% following the last recession. And it ain't pretty.

Posters slant the same way as the population...right of center. Venezuela may be an attractive option to those of you who wish our policies to be left of center.

here is a problem with your post soho- I cannot actually find anything that says Bush Exploration actually filed for bankruptcy- I do find where it was losing money in the mid 80's and merged with a Company named Spectrum and then where that company was "purchased" by a company named Harken Energy- but nowhere can I find he actually bankrupted the oil company

If you are as successful as you claim to be, you would know that everyone no matter how successful has failures.

why would he have been IN a situation room, unless he knew ahead of time that this outpost would be attacked? and we've already determined that there was NO reason for the admin to NOT help that outpost, HAD they known about it *(being attacked at some future time).
also, since obama's election is over with, what does this 'situation room theory' of yours have to do with hillary? i mean, that's where all of this nonsense is heading...
as for the 'keep your insurance' thing, it's also been established that the ACA does NOT prohibit you from keeping previous insurance plans. THAT falls on your insurance company.
