Was thought to be a UF lean before he committed to Michigan and even likely to end up a Gator until we turned into a used tampon this season. I'm guessing we're #3 on his list. The good news is that the Gators and Muschamp have time to redeem themselves before the 2015 class signs. Let's just hope he doesn't commit early again. I do believe there is a relationship with Grier.

    6'5" with 4.4 speed?

Freak athlete. Get him in and find a spot for him... whether catching the ball or on defense, there's a way he can contribute.

I'm not sure I can see Phillips and Campbell coming with Lane on the roster.

well we still have to get Lane on the roster. Also the 205 class of WR's in the state is loaded so no matter who we get they are going to be big time players. If a kid wants to go to UF FSU or Miami they will have to compete. There are some better WR's just as good or better than Phillips and Campbell in 2015.

Well he ran a 4.36 at the opening. Wonder exactly how tall he is now? 6'4-6'5ish. His hands are bad though. If he dad lane's hands he'd probably be number 1 player in his class

No matter where he ends up, we must wish him the best of luck.

WR/Aths are like flies in high school and very, very few turn into college stars, like Benjamin. Having a QB who can get you the ball when open downfield, and an OLine that gives the QB enough time have been something that FSU has done this year only, and the Gators, despite having Dunbar and Patton, have not for the past three years.

I would think that this young fellow will pay attention to what the Gator offense does under a new OC and OLine coach before making a binding commitment.

Well, maybe when the Aubies spank the Nolle Prosseses, he will come around.

    Does he play any defense?

He looks like he has a good frame. At that size, he can easily develop into a rush end / LB / Buck type player (assuming he doesn't have the hands to play on offense).

You don't sound enthusiastic in relaying that. WR or bust?

He's been projected by some recruiting experts as an OLB or DE. I don't know if that was based on his defensive performance or his pass catching (dis) ability.

I mean he would be a decent safety but hes a WR. If he had better hands he would easily be the num 1 player in the 2015 class IMHO
