Was at the game Tues. night and saw one of the funniest signs ever.
We took this picture at tip off and it can be seen in the background.
    Subtle, but very funny.

    Anyone spot it??

Agghhh..."fame". I still don't know how to edit on this site! Game, I meant game.

Anyway, I don't think anyone will be able to make out the sign. My picture is showing up too small.
It is along the railing just to the left of WY's image. It is a picture of a jumbo shrimp, with the caption: "Start with Shrimp".

    LOL!!!

    Genius!!!

My first thought was food chain. Shrimp - Jayhawk - Gator but then the fictional Jayhawk is in Kansas without Shrimp.

Tried to tie it into WY's image. Maybe saying the shape of the faux-hawk resembled a large shrimp laying on his head.

Those were my two best guesses, but hesitated to put either in the genius category. Rella's post cleared it up. Cut the cable a few years ago so haven't seen those commercials. Can't argue with the choice.

The obscure humor makes it genius.

That, and the fact that I wanted to use the word "genius".

I don't see anything. There's a chance though that I wouldn't get it even if I did see it.

Guys, watch the youtube link GatoRella posted earlier in the thread. The "Start with shrimp" joke will become clear. I found this quite humorous.

Had to explain that sign to the wife a few games back. It had me laughing. A bit of an inside joke as I assume that commercial wasn't aired outside Florida.

Good sign, but too small. Likely wasn't very visible without field glasses across the court.

As an argent vegetarian, however, I must say "Start with Peppers, the hotter the better."

Perhaps not genius, but certainly funny.
