Gators Claim Two SEC Titles on Day 1 of Championships
Men sit fourth, women ninth after the first day of competition
    By Katie Callahan UF

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Gators wasted no time on the first day of the SEC Championships, with the men winning two titles and the women garnering 105 points.
Florida's men currently sit in fourth place overall after winning both the 200 medley relay and 800 free relay, while Florida's women sit ninth with 105 points.
The Gator men claimed the 200 medley relay for the third-straight year, with Michael Taylor, Chandler Bray, Jan Switkowski and Caeleb Dressel setting a new school record with an A-cut time of 1:22.94. That swim not only set a new school record, but was a SEC meet record as well.
