    Orkin loses 1-6

Lipman loses the tiebreaker 3-6, to drop his second set 6-7

Gators lose 3-4, so close...yet so far away.

5-seed Mississippi State upset #1 seed Texas A&M, so it will be a dog eat dog final!

This is bad news since Miss St. is 17 and we are 16. This might mean we get flip-flopped and lose our change to host.

    Those are old rankings.

As of 4/25, UF is #14 and MSU #18. So hopefully we're still safe.

We would also need to fall behind 2 of these teams, granted they all had better conference tournament results than the Gators.

#15 Oklahoma - upset #9 Texas, then lost to #4 TCU
#16 Michigan - def. #25 Illinois, lost to #2 Ohio State
#17 Stanford - def. #21 Oregon, lost to #5 UCLA

I would guess we might fall behind Oklahoma and MSU and squeak by at #16, but we'll see...on Tuesday, I guess.

I think UF still gets a top 16/hosting slot. The bad thing is UF will be pretty close to 16, meaning that if they survive the first 2 rounds (they will) then they matchup with a very high seed in the round of 16 and the odds become very long then.

The rankings are not done by consensus vote. Yes the committee does look at variables between teams. But if all holds true, we should be fine and remain in the top 16. Remember we beat two top ten teams in USC and UCLA, and we have beaten MSU twice this season.

Looks like a finish at 15 which will put us in as a host site for first two rounds of the NCAA Team Championships.

Virginia is now decisively #2 according to this site: http://texascollegetennis.com/current-mens-ita-rankings/

They beat #1 Wake in the ACCT final. I guess they might even be shifted to the #1 seed? We will find out soon.

Goes without saying that any of Wake, UVA or Ohio State would be a very tough R16 for UF if we can get there.
