That's the quote the announcer just said!

Only a little over halfway through the first quarter but he is already in double figures (4-4 on three balls 14 points so far) and Houston is giving it to the spurs on the road. Also mentioned a cool Xmas story of CP shaving his head (so he is sporting a new buzz) in honor of a 10 year old battling cancer he has formed a relationship with. Very inspiring and CP is a great ambassador of UF and for Billy D, Go Gators!

Crazy seeing how much he's developed. Came in with Calathas and you would've thought Nick was going to be the star. Calathas is with the Grizzlies now and is doing just fine, but Parsons is the star.

That system is perfect for him. Lots of early shots and transition pick and rolls to get threes, paint twos, and fouls/free throw attempts. Parsons has really improved his pick and roll game (in part because the cleared NBA lanes mean he doesn't have to worry about all those hands reaching in on his high dribble) and he has been a demon jumping passing lanes, getting out in transition, hitting catch and shoot threes nor threes off their high ball screens, and creating and scoring once he gets in the lane. On many teams, Parsons would just be a spot up shooter, but with Houston he can really use his entire skill set and gets extra possessions to do so.

would not shock me that when all is said and done he has the best NBA career of all the former Gators. Would have to look up Maxwell's final stats.

Houston runs a very similar offense to what we run at uf.
