After being around Gator Men's Tennis for many many years I can easily say this is the best recruiting class we have ever signed. Sam Riffice and Lukas Greif are top five national players. Riffice from California, even though he now trains at the National Training Center at Lake Nona, was heavily recruited by USC and UCLA. He is now a Florida Gator, not a Trojan or Bruin! Lukas Greif ran through the National Championships at Kalamazoo, in the 16's division without losing a set! Lukas is still young and his game has no limits once he is working within our conditioning and on court program. These two are just outstanding student athletes. They will compliment the class on campus now to make Florida one of the best programs on the men's side by the fall of 2018.

Will be a national title threat quickly. The roster will have elite talent deeper than ever before.
One thing I also like is that uf will be formidable in doubles, both this year and moving forward

Any chance these guys go pro? Or are they a lock to make it to campus?

Having that national training center close by is paying dividends. Both the men and women have a match vs FSU in Orlando , is it this month? Or when? Where is the match being played at in Orlando?

As far as these guys making it to campus. The men's tennis scene has changed dramatically over the past five years. The game requires for the most part a mature and physically developed player. So players are not bypassing college as often as before. The players we signed this past week will be on campus and most likely for multiple years.

Last years match against FSU in Orlando was packed with fans. That will be cool having both matches going at the same time. Im not sure where I will sit.

what time does it all start? I think the gators mens basketball team is hosting Bama on that day, not sure of the time. but I'd love to be able to hit both events if possible.

The other two players are Grey and Harry Cacciatore out Gainesville. Both top 100 player singles but also State champs in doubles. Does anyone know their status at they have apparently not signed LOIs.

All four players in the early signing period have submitted their paper work. If you are relying on the Tennis Recruiting Network for confirmation on signed Letters of Intent, they are behind and always are unless a parent goes in and updates their child's information, which they can do. That means Sam Riffice, Lukas Greif, and the Cacciatore twins Harry and Grey. We posted this on our Men's Tennis Booster Page quite a while ago. https://www.facebook.com/Florida-Gator-Mens-Tennis-Boosters-223235924357321/
