Nice! Thx for sharing.
Gotta admit, when I saw them start up the Arthur Ashe award with Michael Sam, I just about changed the channel. I was like, "great, here we go again". Actually a pretty good story though. He's had a tough life.

Yikes - Hannah's dress takes your mind off women's softball...
What are these ESPY's you speak of?
Did she throw you a curve?
Gotta admit, I actually did change the channel.
I appreciate that what he did took some courage, but that staged drama queen stuff when he got drafted was too much on draft day, and way too much to get repeated and highlighted. It's supposed to be a sports award show.
^^^Not taking sides here, but for every 1 changing channels, there may be 3 tuning in, and it's all about ratings...
I thought I was gonna see emmitt and Wilbur
How did I forget Wilbur. And, FWIW, Neal wasn't too shabby either.
I'm reminded of this tweet:
I don't recall Tim being mocked because he was Christian.
I agree ratings play a role and outside of my personal decision to change the channel, I have no idea how that worked as far as ratings go.
I'm quite content with my decision to change the channel, though.
And to be clear, it had nothing to do with Sam being gay or coming out - I respect him for making that difficult decision. It has everything to do with the contrived drama queen scene they staged, and ESPN chose to highlight, after it had already had more than enough air time during the draft.
Is it nice, that rock you live under? Is this a joke?
U mean u don't like an agenda being jammed down your throat without even a bit of milk to ease the discomfort?
I live in San Francisco, Alcatraz is my view though, if that's what u meant. Otherwise, no I don't recall Tim being ragged on by anything but the fringest of the fringe.
