    Honda is the only US alternative right now for cars but it hasn't always been that way and you can thank gubmnt policies for that

    I don't argue one moment that the government has been a lapdog of the oil industry for a long time. I just wonder how much longer we will go without a true national energy policy. One that is long-term in its approach.

    Oil industry didn't want ethanol or electric cars. As long as carbon is evil we will never have a legitimate energy policy.
