    Epic weekend coming up.

Gators kill UCONN then Game of Thrones Premier on Sunday and then Gators win the title on Monday.

Game of Thrones blew me away last season. Thankfully I didn't read the novels so the twists have me yelling at the TV and squealing like a 12 year old girl at a Taylor Swift concert.

Great distraction from the obsessive Gator BBall following I have enjoyed/endured. :)

You could easily binge watch your way through it tomorrow before the season premier at 9.

Game of Thrones is what I look forward to most all year round (now that Gator football has decided to be a perennial disappointment). Unfortunately, this year I'm in Afghanistan and won't be able to watch. It's going to be a marathon on-demand session when I get home.

I'm in the middle of book 3 now. Excellent read. Think that the show does a reasonably good job of following the book.

I've read all of the books and it seems the further into the series it goes the more blending of the books there is. No one else in my family has read them so they are always speculating what is going to happen this year and I wont give anything away.

I do have 3 characters I really like on the HBO show and at least one of them is still alive at the end of book 5. Is that a tease or what!

Great first start to the season. A new character introduced, a killer of course. A new actor for Daario Naharis, someone who can actually act, Michiel Huisman. Our favorite comedy duo rampaging through the countryside. HBOGo crashing because of the absurd load.

I think the show is fantastic, but having read read all of the books, I have a slightly different take. The storyline in the TV series is definitely different than that of the books (which is why city is wrong about not being able to blown away by the series if he read the books) What the series does is use the best of the dialogue of the books and present a story which is true to the spirit and themes of the book.

I cannot remember when I have enjoyed both books and TV/Movie so well together. The other advantage of having read the books is that the myriad families/characters tend to make better sense. Heck, just having the maps and family indexes is a help.

Great episode tonight wouldn't you agree?

Of course the most important thing to remember is that Stannis is just getting warmed up.
