Part of your post has already been addressed- but the problem with Bowden is that he INTERVENED in an investigation in order to halt it. He had no idea if the player was guilty or not- yet he intervened anyway.

That's some major stuff right there- using his exalted position to influence a criminal case. It's amazing you don't recognize this.

What actually happened is next to irrelevant here.

What matters is that there was a systematic effort by university officials and local law enforcement to do the shoddiest job possible investigating it.

One thing is want to know us where is jimbo during all of this? ?we have a player that barks at a dog and gets thrown behind bars and suspended......and champ commented on the incident. ..jimbo is quiet as a cemetery. As far away the money goes, I would immediately start looking at boosters.

So Winston is a rapist and a shooter? "Tainted Title Too" coming to a Sports Illustrated cover near you soon! From the original "Tainted Title" article:

"Florida State won the 1993 national football championship, but because of unsavory agents; rule-breaking players and its own lack of vigilance, it ended up a loser..."

Sound familiar? I'm just glad UF's legacy is built around Danny Wuerffel and Tim Tebow, not Footlocker and Jameis-the-Gun-Totin'-Rapist.

I'm sure he's been primarily defending either Winston of FSU. Not surprising.

But of all the crappy things the Times article outlined, none of it really applies to the OP's assertions.

And this is the prime example of a nole fan. Ignore any sort of evidence or things of question since we are winning. They'll do anything to savor that trophy! Very sad and very pathetic!

It's kind of pathetic how really bad this sucks for them, and they do not seem to be able to comprehend it.

The question becomes, with all the debauchee that's involved wit this pathetic excuse of the program, how much credence does the crystal ball that sits in their cardboard box aka trophy case hold?

Would we even know about Winston/Rape-Gate if the Tampa Bay Times doesn't file the public records request?

FWIW, I believe they also broke open the Pell scandal back in the 80s too.
