It could even be simplified that if you have a stellar offensive line, it doesn't matter what you run.

I'm just trying to prove the point that it can be successful in the SEC, though some people don't believe so

I just don't understand Foley's angle. Why keep this guy as your head coach?!

Is Foley afraid to pull the plug too early, as if he feels like firing Zook was a mistake?

If it made sense, then it wouldn't be so infuriating.

I am not sure how many Gator fans would be happy if we ran the version of the spread Auburn has ran this year. Our fans seem to want 400 yard passing games

I don't want passing yards, I just want yards. If you're picking up 5 yards on every run, keep running. If you can't move the ball on the ground, throw. Then add in a run to throw them off.

I wouldn't call them a spread team. Read option, but not spread.

Yes. But they did it within 2 yrs of being in the conference. We'll be in Yr 4 of the Muschamp Mess era.

When we are picking up 5 yards people still complain they want passing yards.

Malzahn walked into a pretty good situation. Most of the offensive players at Auburn are players that he recruited. It's not like he went there and implemented a completely new system. Most of those players were already familiar with the playbook and the offense that Malzahn runs. I hear this comparison a lot, but it's a completely different situation than Muschamp is in

If you watched them last yeat. You saw there was a ton of talent and what they really needed was to find a QB. I said at the beginning of the season if Marshall or the freshmen played well at QB they were going to win a lot of football games.

But Pinkel has been their HC for 12 years, and it took 7 years to just win the north division of the Big12. Now they are one game away from Atlanta.

There have only been a few times where I've seen us run the ball consistently well in the Muschamp era. Against LSU, against FSU (both in 2012).

Good for them. They are Missouri. We now want to pattern ourselves after Mizzou?

Malzahn is running the offense he's running now because he has a converted cornerback playing QB and he's taking advantage of what he does well, the opposite of what Muschamp's staff has done with first Driskel then Murphy.

Don't act like Malzahn doesn't know to run a passing offense if he has the right players. He proved he could do so at Tulsa, his first stint with Cam, and at Arkansas State.

I certainly wouldn't mind patterning ourselves after Mizzou next year. They had a really crappy season last year, and a really good season this year. Would it be so terrible to have a good season next year with the same coach?

The Muschamp defenders are getting very desperate and resentful.

Malzahn is a coaching mastermind. Muschamp is a terrible coach. It's like comparing Shaq with Kwame Brown.
