Forbidden love? Wut?
Board format is tough to read but it starts here:
Whew, bizarre rumors. Some people on the Mizzou boards say that Price and Ross had a "thing", Ross got together with a girl, Price got jealous and followed him and rammed his car, Ross filed a restraining order, Price got arrested and kicked off the team.
Next week, on Days of Our Lives...
great move for Mizzou! Haith is very shady and his teams underachieved big time. I put a lot of that on the players, but at some point the coach has to be held accountable. Hopefully he takes Dave Leitao with him. That guy was a real dbag! Mizzou is one of those teams that I would like to "root" for and hopefully they hire a coach I can tolerate...
Am I wrong in wondering if Heath heard the NCAA is sniffing around, and bolted?
He has a shady past.
If he gets out and gets a new job, he avoids the show-cause damage.
Havent heard any rumors, but you never know.
Another take on the overall SEC coaching situation from Pat Forde. I don't necessarily agree with him here ...
Was just going to post this. I think its a stretch. Cuonzo's teams were underachieving greatly before the Elite 8 run and he was losing all of his good players. Plus he didn't really have AD support. Haith has had a troubled past.
this maneuver is called "The Kiffin"
With the possible exception of Martin, they all underperformed by any reasonable measure. Johnson went 40-56 his last three years, Haith declined every year and had even less coming back, along with disciplinary problems, Tubby couldn't recruit and even Martin (who was treated a bit unfairly with that petition for sure) realized he had a weak team coming back and left.
So who got a raw deal in that group?
The NCAA can still penalize a coach for past misdoings, including a show cause, even if he's at a different school
I know, but if Tulsa doesnt fire him he dodges that bullet, as the show-cause may expire before he goes job hunting again...Had he stayed at Mizzou and something goes down, he would be out of coaching for a good many years.
I just wonder, thats all.
Alden just had a PC, Haith told Alden via text.
They're probably throwing parties.
So which job opening is more attractive? Tennessee or Missouri?
