The writer postulates that an 8-4 regular season gives Muschamp another year.

To quote Patrick Henry: "Forbid it, Almighty God!"

They give us a "gimme" against Eastern Kentucky. That is a step in the right direction.:)

Personally, the big game is Tennessee. Unless they still have Dooley fatigue they need something to show that they are heading in the right direction. We need to win that and not have Tennessee lose it. Lose this one and I see a massive free fall, including the game attendance. JMHO

I agree Tennessee is a must win. Momentum going into Alabama with (hopefully) a healthy team and I think we have a good chance there. Or at least play a good game on all sides of the ball. (for a change).

Every SECe team we play is a must win. That is, unless you think we'll beat both LSU and Bama. If we lose one to LSU or Bama, and one to an SECe team, that SECe team will have to have 3 SEC losses in order for us to go to Atlanta.

I honestly think Kentucky is a HUGE game this year. Some people may laugh at that but in my mind, this game will set the tone for the season. I think we need to win and win convincingly and have the offense play well in that game. I the offense controls the Kentucky game, I believe the teams will gain confidence going into Bama. Even if we lose at Bama, in a somewhat respectable manner, it can be a good season.

But if we sputter against Kentucky, and I don't mean that we lose, but even if we don't play well, especially on offense, I can see the doubt immediately start creeping into the player and fan minds. If that happens, with the schedule we have, it's probably going to be a very long season and I wouldn't be at all surprised if Muschamp isn't gone before the UGA game.

I think we were referring to the early part of the season. Yes it would be nice to beat all the SEC teams.
