Dave, did you actually add anything to the discussion? Anything about why she was right to say what she said? Why criticism of her was wrong? Or did you just stick with "You guys are wrong, jealous and hysterical to criticize Fox," the kind of thing you could have written without even knowing what the discussion was about?

Show me where I said Megyn was mean spirited.

    Thanks.

And,she also admitted that she didn't really know what she was talking about when it came to Jesus.

You mean she had to spell out the obvious for the anal retentive, tighty-whitey, panties in a wad neo-libby lynch mob.

Ok, maybe not you. But seems like the driving force behind pretending this is even an issue.

No, the driving force behind this is that what she said was stupid on multiple levels.

Especially on the level where it's taken as serious, when it wasn't intended as such.

I get it....the Left has lots its collective sense of humor since it's beloved POTUS extraordiannaire, has been proven the biggest joke in recent memory, and set progressivism back 20+ years a la Carter.

IOW: Now that the jokes on them...they've lost their sense of humor. ;)

If she was making a joke, then she really needs to work on her delivery, or maybe that's just the conservative style of humor, in which case I'll stick with people like Jon Stewart.

Or just not "fact" as she claimed.

I think the driving force behind it is that the whole argument is borderline retarded.
You have one woman wanting Santa to be a penguin and another making sure kids know santa is white. Does that sound like a rational conversation on any level?

In a conversation about Santa Clause.

Not a book, or detailed thesis she was developing. It was a throwaway line, directed to kids, about Santa Clause.

To take any of it serious, is ridiculous.

Well, she's not a comedienne, unlike Stewart.

But the context of the conversation is all you need to know, to tune down your neo-libby antlers, and realize she wasn't being serious...

I watched the video and read the article they were discussing. I don't believe that is accurate to claim she was just "saying it to kids" or that it was a throwaway line, certainly not when she injected Jesus' skin color into it as 'fact."

Yet, I'll also say this, folks on tv, for all their jabbering and squawking and bloviating (to which she's not immune), at some time or another--even the good ones--will step in it. It happens, we all talk about it after, and then move on. And while I think Kelly is bright and a good news host, she was still wrong. But she's not a smear merchant like many on tv. And really, I don't care that much. It's just a topic of conversation.

Their desperation is justified. We warned them of the icebergs they were heading for. The Titantic is going down and they're bailing with thimbles.

    Yes? And?

I'm still trying to figure out how this obvious race-baiting thread is allowed to exist..

    Oh wait... I see...
