Investigators have estimated the doctor molested or raped 1,500 - 2,000 athletes from 15 sports. Wow. There were a lot of creeps enabling this to go on. It seems that Jim Jordan did little to nothing to stop it or to protect the wrestlers he coached. OSU will be dealing with this for a long while. It will be expensive for the University when they settle with the victims.

Don't forget to call him crazed.

But yeah, OSU is buried up to their necks in excrement if there is any truth to this. And Jordan should resign immediately if he knew anything about it. What is it with Republican House Members/Wrestling coaches?

Strauss wasn’t the only Ohio State official who showered with the team, DiSabato said. After practice ended at 3:30 p.m., some university professors, administrators and others would show up in the shower stalls just as the athletes were arriving, he said.

It was, DiSabato said, like walking through “the gauntlet of sexual deviancy.”

Lol When you look at who is behind this. He won't let them get away with this nonsense.

I guess they didn't like his name coming up for new speaker possibly.

Turned a blind eye? What does that mean? Can you prove that he knew something?

Sounds eerily similar to the Michigan State deal. Lot's of "know nothings" up there too. At first.

Between Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan State... WTF was going on in the Big 10??? Never would have thought what was going on was possible at that level.

His own former buddies and colleagues in the Ohio State wrestling world? That is literally who is calling him "liar".

It's not like he is even accused of any wrongdoing here, sounds more like he just wants to stay away rather than cooperate. Sadly, if all this is true, turning a blind eye is what enabled this perv doctor to operate in the 1st place. I guess some people are incapable of learning. At worst he'd be a Mike McQueery like figure.

“Who is behind this” are athletes in 15 scholarship sports at OSU in an investigation the school has confirmed.

    You don’t find that newsworthy?

I’m sure it’s normal for a doctor and other school employees who aren’t participating in work outs to come shower with the boys every day. Happens everywhere, right?

Your blatant and sycophantic partisanism knows no boundaries.

This, people want to know what he knows or doesn't know. Simply give your interview, sign a sworn statement and move on. There is a legal investigation into the matter, not just hearsay.

The act of not returning messages and avoiding legal counsel. On the surface, points to hiding something.

He may be just getting his own ducks in a row with his own attorney before making any official statements.

Now it is easy to understand Jordan’s unprofessional demeanor toward Rosenstein at the hearing on the IG report. He has a gut level psychological need to destroy investigators. He is a perfect candidate for the new speakership of the Republicans keep control of the House because he typifies the values they represent. Live by one set of rules but promote another one for everyone else. Roy Moore is better for everyone else because he supports certain values that he does not live by himself. Man, you like being lied to.

The allegation is that he directly received reports and apparently did nothing. Much worse that McQueary. Worse than Paterno who at least passed the reports to PSU’s President.

The analogy to McQueary falls apart. In the end McQueary came forward and testified that the sexual abuse by Sandusky at Penn State had occurred. Jordan is still denying any knowledge that the abuse occurred at Ohio State.

    Follow the simple pattern here

Penn State-we had no clue this was going on. Oh. Wait. Yeah, we all knew.........

(In best George Costanza voice) “was that wrong?”.....

(google “George Costanza sleeps with cleaning lady if you’re not familiar)

USA gymnastics-we had no clue this was going on. Oh. wait. Yeah, we all knew......

Michigan State-we had no clue this was going on. Oh. Wait, Yeah, we all knew.......

OSU-gee I wonder how this will play out? Hmmmm.

And I’m going to laugh my ass off the next time that pompous POS Jim Delany makes fun of the SEC for anything. Instead of Legends and Leaders they should have named their athletic divisions Pedophiles and Sex Offenders.

My god, can you have lack of institutional control at the conference level??????

    Edit: adding this:

Gop Rep. Jim Jordan Denies Allegations That He Ignored Sexual Abuse at Ohio State
    From th epiece:
“Congressman Jordan never saw any abuse, never heard about any abuse, and never had any abuse reported to him during his time as a coach at Ohio State,” a spokesperson for Jordan said in an initial statement following the allegations.

Shortly after, Jordan's office released another statement denying the report: “Congressman Jordan never saw any abuse, never heard about any abuse, and never had any abuse reported to him during his time as a coach at Ohio State. He has not been contacted by investigators about the matter but will assist them in any way they ask, because if what is alleged is true, the victims deserve a full investigation and justice.”

    ....

People will believe what ever they want to in this case- until someone provides definitive proof I am going to believe Jordan -

I have to agree with your statement. The matter is still in an investigative process and until a subpoena is issued I would remain silent as well. In the mean time I would certainly be talking to an attorney. That said everything so far is hearsay and the media certainly isn't going to get any comments out of Mr. Jordan nor are they entitled.

As for the sick SOB unfortunately we will never get his side of the story as dead men don't talk. What remains to be seen is evidence of such debased behavior. Perhaps the other alleged eye gawking members of the faculty will provide more insight into this matter.
