It's been a rough go for some of the guys lately. Zunino dropped all the way under .200 after his torrid start, though he has now recovered a little bit. Tucker has also fallen off after a big first month. Randall got promoted to Hi-A and promptly got lit up. Looks like Maddox got moved back to the bullpen (where he should probably be anyway).

On the flipside, Fontana's OBP prowess is growing to legendary status, and he's hitting so well that he should be in AA sooner than later. Johnson has a 2.18 ERA through 5 starts, and Disco continues to look like he could be the sleeper future big leaguer among this entire group of recent Gators.

Paco Rodriguez is already a key part of the Dodgers' bullpen and is pitching very well. Of course, he just gave up a grand slam to Justin Upton that went about 700 feet, but that'll happen.

Just checked to see how Z was doing, and he's batting .231 overall in 37 games with pretty good power numbers. Really eye raising was that he's batting .359 (.162 OBP, .200 SLG, .362 OPS) in 19 away games but .077 (.416 OBP, .756 SLG, 1.172 OPS) in 18 home games. Wow, time to move to another team lol.

Anyone remember UF P named Seth McBride??

Ran into him today, he owns Pastuers Sports in Ocala(least I think hes the owner)

I knew I recognized the name, but had no idea from where. Hes about 6'7"- 6'-8"( had me by inch or 2) so I was thinking he played basketball somewhere.

Sez he grad, from UF in 2006, transfered from P'cola. I dont remember him as a UF player. Didnt get into how much he played , etc.

Ok, maybe I misunderstood him. So was he ever on a UF roster?? Maybe he just went to UF after P-cola. But that wouldnt explain why his name sounds so familiar.??
