Casey Prather earns MVG for the 5th time in 7 games in an ugly 67-66 win over the FSU Seminoles at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center. Casey Prather led the Gators in scoring with 19 points, adding 4 rebounds and 2 assists for a value score of 80. Scottie Wilbekin comes in second despite shooting a poor 2-12 from the field and 3-5 from the line. Scottie still managed to rack up 68 credits with a team leading 8 assists and 5 steals to go with his 7 points. Michael Frazier II looked like the Gator MVP by scoring big 3-point baskets to give the Gators breathing room. Michael went 5-8 from the 3-point line scoring 17 points and ending up with a value score of 59. Team stats showed the Gators shot a poor 38% from the field and were frequently unable to finish near the basket as they were bothered by the FSU height. On the flipside, the Gators shot better from the 3-point line led by Michael Frazier II. .... If the Gators had lost the game, the biggest difference was at the free throw line where the Gators were 15-24 compared to the Seminoles who were 20-23 from the line. The Assist/Turnover ratio was a respectable 15-9 and rebounding was even. The Gators actually had 20 offensive rebounds but had a difficult time finishing against the length of the Seminoles.
