    Amen!

Musk is absolutely my favorite contemporary entrepreneur. Practically a superhero, indeed, and he does know all those things and is pushing forward. That should tell you something.

Wonder if in the future Musk's name will be thought of like we do with people such as Westinghouse, Bell, Jobs, and Gates?

I have nothing against electric cars as long as my tax dollars are not involved. But this whole article is about a car that is 0.6% of sales. What are the cars in the other 99.4%?

All the other cars in the world. The S is second in sales within its class, behind only the Cadillac XTS.

Listen dude, I do not like Obama killing our domestic supply of cheap fossil fuels like coal, NG and oil just to tax us more for subsidies for the few people that want to buy these government pimped and expensive cars from GM. That is my point that you seem to miss.

Tesla is the exception, and they were fine even before Obama helped them with a huge infusion of cash.

So... get the phuch off your high horse and see the real problems with Obama's electric car push before you miss-characterize people that disagree with your narrow view of the big picture.

I've always liked Tesla cars and their approach to the electric car industry.

My opposition isn't to electric cars it's to Obama killing oil, coal and NG to get there.

It's that simple. Even you can understand that.

But that's not what you were complaining about nor what we were discussing.

    Even you can understand that.

How is Obama killing our domestic supply of oil and NG? Coal I know he wants to limit. As far as the rest goes you are the one who is all hyped up. If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen.

BS! That and the lack of rare-earth minerals mined here in the U.S. are both my main points. Besides that, doe it really matter?

The industry as a whole is ruled by the only company that can make a product the people want to buy - Tesla.

Talking to you is like talking to the typical liberal... you her and see that you want to hear and see.

More proof of Obama's boondoggle into the electric car foray.

I love it that because I disagree with you it means I have to be a liberal. Just impossible that I could be anything else.

Uh, yes, that's what I'm saying. We don't produce a vast majority of the materials for almost all automobiles. Have you already forgotten what we're talking about here?

Put your money where you mouth is and buy one, then show us pictures so we can see how happy you are about your purchase.

    What a bizarre tangential response.

It's like you're trying to walk away from your reasoning.

Is that because you think that you and other people who you deem to be of your thought processes don't insult anyone else on TH?

Let's not be throwing rocks in our glass houses as it pertains to tacit insults.
