Well you will. Soon.
Why would a Model S ever sell for $35,000? It's competitors, like a 5 Series BMW, don't sell in that range.
I only see two possible ways that we could see such prices again:
1.) Spectacular free fall of demand, likely caused by global economic collapse. In this case, we won't be quibbling about EVs. = Problems.
2.) Spectacular leaps in supply of alternative energy sources - drop in demand
... OPEC disappears?
Potentially, but that's not likely to happen in any convenient manner. I'm sticking this in the "problems" bucket, too.
I am going to invest in something that will screw with the electrical system so you will get out of my way and lay dead on the side of the road.
I see... valid points.
You can already do that with any car that has electronics. Gas or electric wouldn't matter unless it was a much older vehicle.
As Hall said, unless you're driving something from 1978, this is going to affect all cars.
But more importantly, it's kind of weird that you want someone to die for driving electric cars. Not particularly healthy.
I assume he means the car. Still, it really is a juvenile post...
