TP is just another name for far-right Republicans, who aren't just fiscal conservatives, but the whole lot

The true fiscal conservatives vote for the likes of Ron Paul, not speak like they do, then vote for Romney and Palin

TP doesn't care about fiscal conservatism, they care about electing another Republican. This is all about Power and that's it!

Wrong again. Do yourself a favor and quit trying to discredit the Tea Party movement. You obviously know nothing about it.

Tell us, how do the TP big money backers differ from the Republican Party?

Tell us, what percentage of self described Tea Partiers voted for the Republican establishment?

Tell us, what this far are the TP accomplishments?

FWIW, last week their was an article quoting a survey/poll saying that more and more republicans are leaning libertairan because they are fed up with the Boehner, McCain, and McConnells of the the GOP... They want smaller Gov't, no foreign entanglements unless they are in the US's best interest, private lives are private to live as one sees fit and not the property of the state or the church, etc... As far as the TP goes, without them the Dems have the House too. That does not mean that Boehner, et al, are actually a check or balance to anything... but that is another story.

I'm still waiting for the Op to give us an example of the model "candidate" to save the GOP...

Posters referring to Potus as "center" anything is ludicrous.

This is absolute 100% BS. I am not a TP member, in fact i am a registered DEM. I know a lot of good people who are involved in the TP in central Florida. The TP by in large could not give a crap about the old guard of the GOP. They are disgusted by the RNC and the GOP leadership. I know many who would like to recall Rubio for his flat out lies and percieved betrayal. Most want to vomit at the thought of Boehner, McConnell et al. Fact is they are persona non grata with the RNC power structure. The RNC wants nothing to do with the TP.

The Tea Party was clearly formed by Republicans, or at least anti-Democrats. They may not want to be affiliated with the RNC. But they certainly waited until a Republican was out of office before expressing concern about national debt.

The TP was formed by disgusted Republicans, conservative independents and anti democrats. They were bitching and moaning long before GWB was out of office. If you ran a poll as to the worst presidents in history, the TP folks i know would have GWB in the top 3 with Carter and BHO. You are mistaken to think that they are deluded about Bush or the RNC. The TP is more likely to form a 3rd party or align with Libertarians than fold into the RNC power structure. The RNC is not viewed much differently form the DNC. There is not much difference to the frog when it being boiled in 30 minutes or 45 minutes.

so why didn't they form during Bush? Why didn't they push for another candidate in 2004? Are there any Republicans that the Tea Party compares to Hitler, the way they do Obama?

Bush was probably the reason the Tea Party formed. That "Compassionate conservatism" was nothing more that Dem-light RINO crap.
