Agree with the first part of your statement. Pub party needs new and charismatic leadership. I do believe that both Boehner and Cantor are good men and no doubt have a place in our party. Would like to see both run for governor or senate in their respective states. But neither are real charismatic and both have likely been in DC too long.

Yeah, all the moderate Dems showed who's the boss when the Obama-scam vote came around.

That looks like the Libertarian Party dogma to me. Even still, it's not the Tea Party.

You could add McCain, Hatch, McConnell and Graham to that list too... pathetic RINO's in Pub's clothing.

Ain't gonna happen. The Tea Party is a Frankenstein monster they can't control and they are now the Republican Base. Until they jettison the Tea Party, they will continue to lose elections nationally, which is fine by me.

funny how no one has come up with some candidates who:
    1. fit the tea party mold
    2. are actually electable on a national level.

Neither of those things will happen. The TP is determined to remake the Republican Party in their image, and look at the latest attempts at Rebranding by the Republicans. Two words - Epic Fail.

And if this ever were to happen, there are no moderate Republicans left - they have all been purged out of the party.

I for one am enjoying this Republican disarray and internal fighting. It makes me laugh.

Will never happen. He will get crushed - which is fine by me. He is am embarrassment as a Senator.

Strange how the Birthers aren't going after Calgary Cruz since he was actually born in another country. I wonder why that is.........

Not a chance. You really think the US in 2016 is going to elect a guy who idolizes Jesse Helms? Sorry, we passed that 50 years ago. Actually, most of the country rejected that 50 years ago.

    Besides ...

Cruz, Paul: A Menagerie of Misinformation

    Cruz’s Nonfactual Illegal Immigration Figures

    Ted’s Twisted History

I mean, seriously, Cruz thinks Reagan reduced spending? Who is doing his research? Michelle Bachmann?
I ask the same question I've asked plenty of times here before: Is he really that ignorant, or is he simply hoping his fans are?
So, Bill, which do you think it is?

I think the left is going to do everything in their power to try and make it seem like he idolizes jesse helms-but I highly doubt it to be true- I am sure if we saw the entire context of the conversation it would be easy to understand what he was saying= the fact is I am tired of everyone walking on egg shells over this type of stuff-

I have never trusted anything fact check has said so why start now

I added some stuff after you commented. Cruz claims Reagan cut spending and cut the deficit. Question: Is he that ignorant, or is he hoping you are?

river- no different than stuff Clinton said-it all depends on what the meaning of is is

of course the moderate pubs and the pub party leadership are totally afraid of the conservative side of their party so they will assist the LMSM of trying to demolish this guy

really? you're going to say that it doesn't matter what the guy you're pushing for president says, whether it's close to true or not, because 15 years ago Clinton said something?

Tell you what, Bill. Here's Cruz's speech that Factcheck was quoting. Go to the 22:30 mark and start listening. See if Factcheck didn't quote him EXACTLY.

    link

I'll give you a hint: It's word for word.

I will listen to the speech in its entirety tomorrow-again you can take any part of a speech and turn it into what ever you want-I am not troubled by what you libs are so up in arms about- I am over coddling less than 15 % of our population-it is time they made it on their own

basically, it sounds like you don't give a crap what he says or if he is even close to correct. He's your guy.
so why do you like him? I'm honestly curious.
