    ....to grow a pair.

Democrats went through this when it allowed the liberal extreme to take over its party. All republicans can do, for the sake of the country, is to learn the same lesson. William F. Buckley even warned republicans to reject the likes of the John Burke Society into the republican ranks. But with their embrace of the Tea Party, which is the JBS by a different name, republicans now find themselves between the rock and a hard place without a right moderate candidate in future elections. http://www.salon.com/2013/09/14/man...policy_requires_a_different_republican_party/http://www.salon.com/2013/09/14/man...policy_requires_a_different_republican_party/

The leftists are so scared of the Tea Party that you can tell by the articles they write.

The Tea Party is the future of the GOP... soon to be the GTP. The 'Grand Tea Party' is for smaller less intrusive government. And most of all, less taxes.

The Grand Ole Party (GOP) is not for smaller government and they are complete war hawks that need to become extinct. They don't mind bankrupting our country, just like the Liberals are doing right now.

The GOP are Dem-light RINO's. That is to say that they are just like the Dems only to a lesser degree in wasteful spending and government size and scope. Some of the dumber ideas in our country came from these RINO's. Many of our worst legislative bills/laws came from not only the Dems but the RINO's too.

This is why I treat the old school Pub, RINO's like I treat the Dems in congress. They're almost the same.

If the Tea Party can stop picking witches and candidates who attended six different universities before earning a degree, they may have a chance.

I personally think the John Burch Society, AKA the Tea Party, will soon feel like they're powerful enough on their own and will end their parasitic hold breaking away from the Republican Party. When that happens Democrats will enjoy some temporary victories, but then the Republican Party will then be allowed to rebuild itself much like the democrats have.

My feeling is you go to A college or university. One transfer is okay. But, Sarah Palin attending five or so undergrad schools leads me to believe something was not right with her.

Unfortunately the Republicans wound up with the worst leadership that I can remember. Boehner, Cantor and their ilk should be run out of the Republican party.

Jim, I also don't like the fact that the right wing, religious/social conservatives are getting the upper hand in the party.

I'd like a fiscal conservative who is not a social conservative.

If the tea party stands for a smaller, less intrusive government that's one thing.

If coupled with cow-towing to the fundamentalist fat right fringe bent on isolationism, no TP candidate will sniff the WH.

did she stick with it until she got her degree?

I went to 3 different CC's and then 2 different Universities to get my degree-I have been pretty damned successful- you are showing your arrogance and a somewhat narcissistic attitude towards women

Narcissistic? Please. She seemed to bounce from college for reasons that were never explained. I'd feel the same if it was a male candidate, from either party.

What about the DE and NV Senate races? The republicans put up two decent candidates and we get more seats in the Senate, AND kick Harry Reid to the curb.

if the liberal extreme took over the party-----why are unions bitching about Obama/Dems?

liberal extreme is certainly part of the Dem party. But it is hardly in control of the party.

So GOP should grow a pair like the Dems did and stand up against the extreme end of their own party

Some things are even extreme with the unions. The main one is screwing with their money, which Obamacare does.

actually, the unions are not being given preferential treatment by the Dems. They are being subject to the law like anybody.
