I'll always love Florida football...I'll just have to learn to love a boring much less successful version of of it

Like a hot tub time machine sent me back to 1986

Why not go back to 1983, 1984 and 1985. Just adjust your time machine know a little more so as to get to the Florida teams that played on a LEVEL PLAYING FIELD, rather than a team crippled by sanctions...

Memory is clear with this one....

That game was hardly an easy one, and it was the first time all season the team broke out offensively. Lots of criticism of Mullen during the season about the O.

Machen and Meyer spent a matter of months together at Utah. I think he pushed for Meyer but I think his role is overstated.

Yes, but that criticism was displaced. Meyer should have gotten the brunt of the criticism. It was HIS offense.

Agree and I'm not saying Pease is on solid ground, but when you look at all the pieces and facts I'm not sure a new OC is gonna happen, it's pretty uncommon for a dude to come in and year 1 light it up.

Oh, good. It's not enough that we won 11 games. We weren't sufficiently dominating, we played good in only one phase of the game, and we won the 11 games because we lucked out, not because we played well enough to win them. I'm surprised you haven't posted more in your time here, you fit right in.

Yeah I'm sick of hearing that too.. You don't luck into an 11-1 regular season in the SEC.

 that is exactly what I thought, and if I read "what must be done eventually must be done Immediately" I think I'm going to throw up.

2012 Florida Gators were 11-2. Can we please stop this "regular season' garbage. It is a joke. If an FSU fan tried to pull that trash off I bet you would be all over them, wouldn't you? For real, if some FSU fan tried to cookie cuuter there season to block out a bad loss you and the "others" would destroy them...hilarious.

    yeah...so Lsu's & Missouri's & S. Carolina's crippling injuries don't count FOR LAST year but ours do this year...what-ever...

the TOTAL lack of discipline TELLS all one need TO KNOW about where we're headed IF we keep current situation...and it AIN'T pretty...

I guess bowl games aren't important to Foley either.

Foley stated he "supported" Muschamp, but it still didn't actually say he isn't going to fire him at season's end. This was Foley being diplomatic IMO, and keeping things as stable as possible until after the season is done.

I don't believe for a moment that he will retain Mushamp after we got our heads handed to us on Homecoming by a mediocre Vandy team.

Whitelakegator, do you even know WHY many simply refer to the regular season?

    Do you?

I don't trust that Foley knows what's best for the program. Where's the evidence ?
