I feel yah. I was Jonesin' bad but couldn't handle the feed
talk about some frustrating crap
My stream has seemingly stopped wanting to work past the 4:06 mark. We're up 99-74 mark, but the thing hasn't wanted to work for several minutes.
Gatorvision is rubbish !!!!
110-88 final. Seven in double figures.
Not bad at all, even in an exhibition, for a short-handed team.
Hey, that Donovan kid looks well-coached.
What's his story?
Just returned from the game. Loved Young's leadership. While it was against a shorter team, with the way Prather and Yeguette played, it will be difficult for Harris and Finney-Smith to move them off the floor. That said, Prather handles the ball well enough to move into the two position.
His pops was a famous Scottish singer
I remember him. They called him mellow yellow. Quite rightly.
Didn't watch the last 4 minutes of the game due to the truly abysmal feed--I've heard not good things about GatorVision and after watching tonight, I can see why. Seriously, if they can't get a pre-season stream right, how on earth would they handle a regular-season basketball or football game when there's more interest and demand?
But whatever..as for the basketball team, this was clearly a night for trying out lots of different players, looks, and formations. Young looked good and did largely whatever he wanted out there---Prather was my MVP for the points, defense, and all-round play. Hill looks very promising as a freshman...and I don't discount the competition too much since FL Southern have some pretty good guards and are one of the better DII teams for a reason.
I thought Carter had some nice looks in the second half...and DeVon Walker looks MUCH improved versus last year, which is also promising since he's going to be one who needs to step up to fill in some of the scoring burden. Graham is still a good ball-handler, but I have no idea where his shooting touch is. Honestly, I'm struggling to remember a worse shooter at this level. Wide-open looks are nowhere near the basket. It's all the more puzzling when you see him making good passes and handling the ball fairly well on the dribble too.
Donovan and Kurtz provided solid minutes tonight. Kurtz is a real walk-on gem. Quietly is always in the right position and does all the little things right. Hope he gets more minutes this year, as he's a good option off the bench for a few minutes each game.
Graham was his classification's player of the year I believe, and I thought shooting was a strength as a prep. So strange how guys can lose it.
I live in Toronto and have subscribed to Gatorvision for a couple of years, and it is almost always way way better than that.
Dan Werner, cough.
This is the second Prather at the two reference I have heard this week. I couldn't watch the game, has he improved his handle that much?

When we get Wilbekin, Frazier, DoDo and Harris back, we'll be pretty good.
Not sure, but I believe his father coaches basketball somewhere
We need the 3 point touch of Frazier and Wilbekin on the floor in order to space out our offense and open up lanes for Prather. If Casey stays healthy, I see him having a big senior season.
There were a few occasions, particularly in the first half, where Prather brought the ball upcourt against a pressing defense. He seemed to handle the ball well. I don't recall him in the back court against the press in the second half so perhaps Billy didn't want that look.
