The entire 2013 season for the entire 2013 SEC East seems to have been one long injury report, and that didn't change in Gainesville Tuesday as Will Muschamp announced yet another season-ending injury for the Gators.

Redshirt freshman linebacker and special teamer Jeremi Powell tore his ACL on an attempted punt block against Missouri and will miss the remainder of the season,

Muschamp said according to GatorZone. Powell had played in all seven Florida games on special teams, making four tackles.

Florida has now lost eight players to season-ending injuries since the start of fall camp.

Sucks for the kid, more of the same for the team. Seems like guys in the pros are bouncing back from these types of injuries without losing a step, hoping the same for Powell.

The beat goes on. Hate it for him. These guys really work hard, and its sad to see everything go "poof." Statistically, after this year, our probability for injury should be really low for several seasons.

We really need to start taking it a little easier in practice.

Just lost their defensive leader Sunseri to a knee injury. This year is particularly bad for UF, but Bama has their share. The depth on their roster makes it less noticeable IMO

Is there something that our S&C program is or isn't doing that is contributing to these injuries? Or is it just a bad run of luck?

Unfortunately it's never a big impact player for them like a McCarron.

In the offseason everything should be closely examined
