Florida Gators Offense have struggled w/ Steve Addazio, Charlie Weis, and Brent Pease

    Two of those coaches are known to be offensive Gurus and we're still horrible on offense. I could be wrong but at some point we're going to have to stop blaming the OCs and blame Muschamp for not recruiting well on that side of the ball. Muschamp is finding gems on defense every year like in Dante Fowler, and Antonio Morrison. I don't see our offense being overhauled anytime soon and I believe Muschamp may be fired as soon as the end of next year (Deserved or not) .

    No doubt, if someone is trying to pinpoint a problem then jumping coaching staffs to do it is a bizarre way to make a point.

    Whoever said Pease was a guru? He was an OC for 1 year at Boise before we hired him.

    Oh, for Pete's sake delioj. Muschamp was recruiting for Texas when Addazio was OC. I doubt you can blame him for any shortfalls at UF.

    Just, to be honest, when Weis was OC, Muschamp had a total of 45 days to finish the class the Meyer did not really bother to recruit. I guess you can blame Champ for that if you want to be really dishonest about it.

    If the offense is still dysfunctional next season, it would fair and honest to talk about Champ's recruits. You comment is neither, accurate, fair or honest as posted.

    Go read the Baylor forums I tell you it is an eye opener. It is Pease, and only Pease that is the problem. Well maybe Mushchamp for not seeing it and alloying it to happen. Last year was smoke and mirrors and really really good players.....humm o yeah we have really really good players this year too. But Play calling and play design SUCK.

    He also calls Dante Fowler Jr a diamond in the rough. Please. He was a stud everyone wanted out of high school consensus 5 star. This dude obviously has no idea what he is talking about.

    Dante Fowler is not diamond in the rough, he is a diamond. Yeah, he shows why is a 5 star and leaves it all on the field. It's guys like him right now I feel sorry for. It's unfair to him, but maybe he has to be a leader as a soph.

    Yeah just look at Auburn this year they have no experience so why would you expect them to be any good

    He was also an OC for 3 years at Montana, 1 year at Northern Arizona, 2 years at Kentucky, and 3 years at Baylor. So 9 years experience as an OC before coming to UF.

    As to who called him a guru, I have no idea, but I would note he's been promoted at every job he's had, so apparently the HCs like him.

    I know I for one hated how Will Muschamp did such a poor job of recruiting for us before he ever got here and somehow handcuffed the play calling of an offensive coordinator that he has never worked with. :roll:

    Come on.
