U really think saban is that dumb?
I hope we stay forgotten until we show up in Atlanta, playing for all the marbles.
Saban isn't dumb, but that doesn't mean that some of his players played with the discipline necessary to keep containment on Manziel in that game.
No, I think he's that stubborn. When your used to imposing your will on everyone, it's hard to think anyone can force you out of it. Bama never backed off the pressure. Kind of like SOS's refusal to use the shotgun until he finally realized he had to do something different to save his QB.
2013 will be a great tune up year for 2014 where we will be mentioned quite a bit. We will need to stay very healthy on the O side of the ball to have a chance to make a run at the east.
We're talented enough to have a shot, but all of those intangibles that everyone speaks of are so important in this era of SEC football.
You need to catch some breaks in order to win a championship these days. Avoiding the injury bug, unexpected improvement from a player or two that begin the season below the radar and misfortune hitting other teams on your schedule are all important ingredients to reaching Atlanta.
Nor have we lost a game. Team is coming off an 11-2 season and is ranked in the top 10. Yes the program is "broke."
After one game, I think the jury is still out...
I don't think so mac. I completely expect a better offense. We have a solid stable of 4 backs to rotate, Driskel looked a lot more comfortable today and had few bad passes. Sure it was frustrating to watch us leave points on the field but it was the first game, and the offense looked infinitely better than it did last year at this point
We had a few dropped passes too. Driskel still having too many negative plays.
I would not say we looked infinitely better than last year. I thought we looked very much the same.
then you and me saw a different game.
